We stayed 6 hours here while transiting Singapore. This place is EXTREMELY basic: no amenities, no decoration, plain jane furniture. In addition, the AC was set at 16C. Turning it up or off resulted in the room warming to a sultry 18C. It may be better than the open terminal if you want privacy but bring a winter coat!

Exactly what we needed in our stopover from Paris to Australia. We arrived at T3 but they were booked out and we were directed to T1 where a room would be ready in 30minutes. Staff were friendly and room was ready right on time. Room was big, basic, quiet and sufficient. Bed was adequate and fell asleep very fast after... More

Absolutely what you need between flights. A small twin room with no windows, but it had a T.V., tea making facilities and a good sized shower and w.c. suite - a bit like a posh student room in a hall of residence. With a charge of £1 for six hours then $16.50 Singapore per hour after that - great value.

We just wanted somewhere to have a shower, freshen up, a bit of a sleep and some quiet before continuing our long haul flight. It was exactly what we were looking for, not too fancy, basic amenities, but still sufficient.

Arriving in Singapore in the wee small hours of the morning, en route to visit friends in S'pore, decided to spend a few hours in the transit hotel before meeting up with the friends for breakfast. Not having to negotiate immigration first and only having carry on baggage, meant that within 15 minutes of touchdown, I had my head down... More

If you are after a no frill accommodation without having to go through immigration then this is for you. The room facility is very basic, absolutely no frill and no windows. To even get basic amenities like tooth brush, shower cap etc, you have to ask at reception! You don't get WiFi in the room. I don't have a problem... More

We had a 6 hour layover and booked a room in advance online. They have these transit hotels at the various terminals in the airport so if you book the correct hotel you don't need to clear customs. If you have checked in your luggage you might want to find out what the process is, as the hotel is on... More

We have used the Transit Hotel twice now for longer stopovers and it is simple, basic comfortable accommodation. You need to book in advance, but being able to put your head down for a few hours after a very early start is so good. We got a room around the corner, clean, quiet and no windows... perfect for a good... More

No wi-fi access. No windows in the room ( there might be in other rooms, not sure). No bathroom towels and toothpaste . Rather one has to 'request' for those items if needed ( i was too tired to make any ).What sort of 'transit' hotel in so acclaimed an airport had i landed, God knows. When i walked in the... More

Our flights to Singapore always arrive around midnight. This "in airport" hotel in the gate area is perfect for over nighting before you go through customs and depart the airport the next morning or catch your connecting flight or ferry. Make your reservation early because this popular spot fills up. Rooms are basic but comfortable. You rent for 6 hours... More
