We arrived at SIN [Singapore Airport just after 8PM local time and didn’t have a flight out till 6:40 the next morning. Clearing immigration, collecting bags, passing through customs, taxi to hotel, check-in / checkout, taxi back to airport, breakfast, flight & bag check-in, immigration again would have taken 2+ hours time better spent working or resting. While not a typical Asian hotel with all the trimmings, The ambassador was a great choice for a long layover, especially as my wife got a bug on the plane and a good bed was well appreciated. The staff were very helpful during our short stay and are to be commended. more

I've now stayed twice at the Ambassador Transit Hotel...The first time was in an 'old' terminal, and most recently in T3 (the new terminal).
