Yes the room was very small, but the bed was among the most comfortable we have encountered. The room was spotless and had both a mini fridge and coffee and tea maker. There were a nice selection of snacks in the lobby and we had at least one ice cream cone a day and the Oreo like cookies went very... More

We stay here for two night in mid of March, the hotel location was great near Mrt, bus station. And it was perfect for exploring the food and culture of Chinatown and some shopping at night. Upon C/I we were greet by a very friendly and polite staff. Rooms relatively small but very clean and tidy, first we were give... More

First the location of the hotel is excellent. There is an abundance of great food, bars and activities nearby, within walking distance and 2 MRT stations are nearby too. The room itself was very small, smaller than I've had in cities like Paris. It was very clean, however the shower left a bit to be desired - it was quite... More

The location was excellent; a quick walk through Chinatown and near the CBD. The room was comfortable and clean and the snacks in the lobby were great. The service provided was great and everyone was very helpful. The Library next door was a lot of fun.

Good location in the center, friendly staff, complementary water/thee/ice cream, clean rooms with a good (not noisy) airco: it all added up to a very nice stay in Singapore. We had a room without windows, but it was no problem. Rooms are small, but for a city trip, you don't spend much time in your room, so it was excellent... More

In a change from our usual 5-star Orchard Road hostelry, we decided that a different area and different style of accommodation would give us a new perspective on good old familiar Singapore. On arrival at the Naumi Liora, our booked Heritage twin-bed was not available although the friendly reception staff did their best to find us an alternative. In the... More

Definitely a great place to stay in Singapore. Good and very accommodating staff. Location is perfect it's near a bus stop at train station. Very close to China Town so shopping and dining is not a big problem.

This is by far my new best hotel in Singapore. I only stayed one night with my friend recently but it's in a fabulous location in Chinatown which makes getting everywhere easy and convenient. I loved the little touches like the candy jars and free tea and coffee in reception, plus the WIFI was top speed everywhere. The bed is... More

Wonderfully located in China Town so close to Maxwell’s Food Center! One of the best places for Hainan Chicken Rice and fried oyster pockets. Aside from the location, the design is great - comfortable, modern, and warm. Also thoughtful in pretty much every detail – love the black and white strings for the blinds… this way you know which one... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
