This is a great little modern hotel in an antique shell: we were there for three days mostly to eat. The hotel is clean, friendly, helpful and within easy walking distance of three hawker markets and Food Street (Smith Street). Hotel is in Chinatown and you can easily walk to three or four temples and a couple of parks. Staff... More

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the little food and drinks kiosk ( complimentary) in the foyer. The ice creams were very welcome after a hot day sightseeing. The location is lovely in the heritage district and in walking distance to lots of temples, shops and Chinatown. The room was tiny with no window, but quaint. Wouldn't want... More

The hotel is situated at the Singapore's heritage area - which is already a bonus to the guests. Outside the hotel are local & foreign restaurants, and further down is the Chinatown area where you can buy anything you need except cars. The hotel is near the bus & train stations - no problem. The ambiance is clean and very... More

At the end of 2 full on weeks in Turkey the 3 day Singapore stay was designed to help readjust to Southern Hemisphere time difference. We really enjoyed our two night stay at this sweet little hotel near Chinatown. The service is excellent and the lobby refreshments are a great touch. Good location as well right next to Chinatown but away enough to be relatively quiet around the hotel with great bars, restaurants and the Maxwell Hawker Centre just around the corner.

I always walk by the Naumi Liora and was impressed with their branding, so I booked my father to stay there in April 2015. The façade of the hotel is beautiful and it is in a prime location- close to the trendy bars in Singapore. I had booked my dad in a Heritage Room on the Naumi website, thinking it... More

Thank you for your review and feedback on TripAdvisor. Naumi Liora is housed in a 155-year old heritage building and due to conservancy regulations, structural changes can be limiting. That is why each of our rooms are different and refreshing, even under the same category! Our team at Naumi Liora hopes to see you again very soon. Regards, Darren More

Location cannot be beaten. The area has actually changed and become more upscale in even the last few years. The Staff are really superior. They make the hotel. All shifts. Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
