One of my most comfortable stays ever! Such a friendly, cozy, warm boutique hotel, located right in the heart of Chinatown is a sure winner. The rooms are modern and well designed with every little detail added for comfort. The staff were so helpful and caring- was really taken with their friendly attitude. Will be sure to stay here again... More

I stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend whilst on a business trip to Singapore and it really was a lovely hotel which I would have loved to have been able to give a 'Very Good' rating to as its staff were great, its location was great, its boutique décor and super ambience was great, the bed was comfortable... This inner city hotel in Chinatown has been very well renovated and is stunning from the street with all the original facade intact, inside has some remnants too with a beautiful timber staircase. I have stayed here twice in a big room and a standard. The large rooms are well appointed and have everything you need, big comfortable bed, plenty... More

Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor and also for your compliments on the design of the hotel. It remains true to the inherent spirit of the 1920s Peranakan-styled building’s heritage, with the original timber flooring, French-styled windows and ‘five-foot way’. As the hotel is housed in a 155-year old heritage shop house with strict conservatory regulations, structural change is... More

Thank you for your review on TripAdvisor. We hope you liked the ice cream and tidbits at our Nibbles corner, which is available 24-hour in the hotel. Our guests do enjoy the complimentary free-flow liquor shots daily from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the lobby, which is also a great place to socialise! Do come back to stay with us soon!... More

The neighborhood is nice, in Chinatown, with a specific walking path, just behind the hotel. The building is typical of Chinatown, 2 or 3 stories, and nice. I have to say I have been impressed by the sense of hospitality of the people in the hotel, I don't know if this is specific of the hotel or the case in... More

We stayed at this hotel both pre & post cruise from Singapore, from the outset and during both of our stays the staff were superb, freindly helpful and efficient, everything from providing water on arrival, to moving our luggage to the room on our second visit , we arrived at 0930 hrs, and did not expect the room to be... Had one night stop over great central location close to station and good food late at night. Staff were friendly and helpful with directions. Our room didn't have a window so if you're staying longer ask for a room above ground. Clean and comfortable.

Thank you for your review. Naumi Liora is not only located near Outram Park MRT Station, it is also a short walk from the Chinatown MRT Station. There are restaurants and bars that open until late at night along Keong Saik Road or even in Chinatown itself, which are great for guests who feel peckish during late hours (they can... More

I stayed here last for a few days in August 2014 and have now stayed for nearly 2 weeks. Just wanted to reiterate my review from last year. It is like coming home, and least because of the extremely service minded and nice personnel working here. They deserve a least 5 stars!

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
