This boutique hotel goes above and beyond! Yes the rooms are small but so nice you could sleep all day if you wanted to. The lobby has a great free happy hour and all day snacks! Great location to walk around China town if you want. Try the burgers across the street....so good! The staff was superb and even said... More

This Chinatown Budget Boutique hotel is conveniently located in one of the most popular districts for eating and drinking at some of Singapore more hip establishments. I have always stayed at Naumi Liora on business trips and would recommend for both business and leisure. The rooms are small but work well and have good linen (towels need some work!) products... Malcolm, Spencer and Diana were awesome. Hotel was quiet, staff very kind and attentive and rooms were clean. They provided me with an upgrade to a deluxe room after a miscommunication. Some of the rooms do not have a window, so if this is important to you, make sure you specify. Clean, quiet and very kind and knowledgeable staff. Five... More

Dear Jen K, Thank you for your five-star review. The windowless rooms, called the Quaint room, imitate an attic with lofty ceiling. If guests prefer a room with windows we often recommend them the Heritage room, which comes with French-styled windows, or our spacious Porch room, which has a patio. We look forward to welcoming you the next time to... More

We stayed in the smallest room, Quaint, for a night in early February. Room: This room comes with no windows as we don't think its a deal breaker as we are only staying for a night. The room was pretty small, but cosy enough not to be too claustrophobic. I like the small feature lights beside the bed, where you... More

Dear chew782, Thank you for your review. For a larger room choice, we would like to recommend the Porch room, which has the largest room space in the hotel and comes with a patio, too. There you can enjoy a quiet outdoor experience with perhaps a glass of wine or a nice cup of coffee. Do come back next time... More

We love love LOVED our stay at Naumi Liora. From organising the booking, the staff were wonderfully helpful. We organised to book an extra half day because we arrived at 6am - no booking the whole extra night before like most hotels, and it was perfect. We stayed in a Heritage Room - my husband, myself and our 11-month-old baby.... More

Great location and great service we had. We booked the Quaint for 6 nights. However, the room is really little and there's no window. I would advise to book a Heritage with windows for those who gets claustrophobic. The free flow treats (cookies, ice-cream. coffee & tea) is a great plus. If you are there, it's a must to check... Dear Bonita C, Thank you for your review and your advice, we would like to add that guests may also like to book a Porch room, which comes with a patio, perfect for an evening outdoor drink or simply a great place to hang out in a quiet environment. We look forward to welcoming you back the next time. Regards,... More

I wouldn't stay longer - rooms are very very small. Location is great, but room was so small I couldn't even open my suitcase on the floor. Lots of stairs / steps up so not great for those with big suitcases. Staff were nice. Walls are thin so I was woken up by doors closing, I could hear the person... More

Dear tinyriot, Thank you for your review. We’re sorry that we couldn't meet up to your expectations. Naumi Liora is housed in a 155-year old heritage building, and due to conservatory regulations, structural changes can be limited. That is why every room’s configuration is different and refreshing, even under similar category! We hope you’ll give us another chance to be... More

Booked a king room but upon check-in (& even went up to my room) I got a hollywood twin room instead. Well the big balcony made up for it i guess. The rooms in the hotel is showing signs of wear and tear. The bathroom is really spacious but please be careful as it's pretty slippery especially when the floor... More

Supposed to Check in at 2pm, I came at 2.30pm, room was not ready, I was told to was told to wait for another 1.5hour. By 4pm then I am able to check in. Coffee maker was not working, requested help, waited for another 20mins. Bathroom was very small, hardly space for me to move around(though I am small size).... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
