This hotel is a little way away from metro stations but did have a bus stop outside. We used many (cheap) taxis to get around as a result. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms a little tired but cleaned every day. Beds very hard but had a good night's sleep. Restaurant food sampled on the first night and even with... More

The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't try the breakfast, but the wide range of food offered looked attractive (we didn't book the breakfast partly due to the cost.) I'm not so sure of the room facilities. I find the air conditioner quite noisy and couldn't get to sleep well due to the constant noise it generated. Second, the... More

On first look, the hotel looks a little tired and could do with a little freshening up. The staff here are fabulous - very efficient and accommodating. The rooms are a decent size and well equipped. Breakfast was a bit expensive compared with what you could get nearby. Location was good - a short walk to Robertson Quay - 5-10... More

We chose this hotel as part of a Singapore Stopover package. Coffee and toast on our arrival shocked us with a bill of $16 for average small cups of ordinary coffee and several slices of white bread and some butter and jam. The breakfast buffet was overpriced at $28pp. We did not ue the restaurant after tasting the coffee and... More

I stopped at the Miramar twice, 2 days en route to Australia and 2 days on the return journey. I must admit that I found the humidity in Singapore very difficult to cope with although the people are very friendly and it's a great city with a fascinating history. Hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Chinatown. The first visit... More

We found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable except for the rock hard beds which made it very difficult to sleep. Meals were hugely overpriced and the breakfast buffet was not very nice. We did enjoy our room service though and it was very quick. Not the best location, walking distance from china town but... There are plenty of cheap hotels along this stretch of road. You might want to give this one a miss. I was given a room where the TV was beside the bed instead of in front. I requested for a change though it wasn't a major deal breaker. The staff came off as though she did not care and merely... More

We stayed for 3 nights on a stopover to Australia. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. When ever we got out of the lift they were asking if they could do anything for us. They gave us good advice in regards to attractions. They flagged down taxis whilst we stayed in the air conditioning. Taxis are quite good value... More

If you are a non smoker make sure you mention this before booking the smokers room smell a lot of cigarette smoke. The staf is friendly. I stay on the 7th floor and the rooms are a bit outdated they could do with a little modern make over. However all the facilaties are there and the hotel is close to... More
