and are not to picky about how your room looks, this is the place for you. from the hotel, its a less than 10min. wak to bugis, city link, marina, and suntec. it's literally at the middle of everything in the city. there is also a new MRT station (bras basah) 4 buildings away... once this becomes operational, the hotel... Whatever you do - if you still have time, change your reservation and DO NOT STAY in this hotel. Filthy dirty (not kidding), rooms not cleaned, burn holes in sheets, dirty pillowcases... Breakfast is inedible. Need we say more! It was an awful experience... Once we checked in, we thought it would be okay for 2 nights because we would... More

The room is small, the towels are not clear white even though I ask for a change. It looks like the towels were not washed. Only have a few TV Channels. The immages were not sharp, lost signals quite often. I do not enjoy staying there.

I had a confirmed reservation at Oxford Hotel for the night of Sept 28 2007 which I had booked through [--]. Upon arriving at the hotel that evening, I was told by the front desk receptionist that the hotel was fully booked for the day and they had to house me in their sister hotel.. which she claimed was "merely... This hotel has potential, but is not well maintained. Location and the airport car were two saving graces.

The Oxford Hotel in Singapore like everything else in Singapore relating to real-estate is too expensive these days. This hotel belongs squarely in the world of $35 per night (2007) instead of the $60-70 or whatever it is now. Nevertheless, the price is what it is. For this price, you get a very small, reasonably clean room. Judging from the... More

We picked this hotel at random on the internet because the one we usually stay at in Singapore - the Excelsior-had raised their prices dramatically and this was nearby. I suppose I've stayed in worse places - a dollar a night crash pad in New Delhi in 1988 comes to mind - but not in this price range! We ended... More

I really found this hotel quite decent at the price in Singapore. We booked at 2 days notice over the phone (our other possiblities were full) and paid the quoted price $140SGD per night all up (including breakfast). The phone conversation mentioned tax extra (which wasnt charged). The room was small but clean and comfortable. Reception were very friendly and there... More

Word of advice, avoid this hotel at all costs! I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights last month during a 3 week trip around India, Malaysia, Japan and of course Singapore and it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The only good thing about it is the location as mentioned in the other reviews. For the... More

This was the only hotel where we could find a room when we arrived in Singapore without a reservation, to find the place almost totally booked out. The room was actually a 'suite' on the 6th floor so I think was probably more roomy than most of the rooms. As soon as the lift doors opened we were almost knocked... More
