I visited Singapore after good 4 5 years and stayed at this hotel since its in LITTLE INDIA and we were travelling with an infant. But, very frankly, everything is just ok. as a tourist, much better options are available in other areas. Dont stay in Little India... not a good area.

Got the hotel based on reviews I read and it did not disappoint us. If you want luxury then it is not for you , but if you want to experience real Singapore then it is. Centrally located, close to the MRT station, opposite a great shopping mall and numerous authentic food shops around it makes it the right hotel... More

Excellent location. MRT . Eateries. Connectivity as well as costs. In Singapore you could travel across in 20 mins. So why not spend hard earned money on good food and comfort rather than pay for a premium location. One con, too many bulk bookings. Noisy in the mornings. But thats it. Rest is great. Go for it.

Reception are warm and keen to help. I had a long flight and I was exhausted, however the room that I have gotten was a little less than expected, reception manager Joy was immediate and quick in response to help me sort out my needs and ensure that I have a comfortable stay during my time here.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days in the first week of January, 2015. An Indian traveller will feel at home with the location of this hotel near little India. Breakfast is a lavish affair. Pool is nice and clean. Family room is extra large good for a family of four. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Noise from... More

If you want to experience crowd, ill-mannered guests, guests shouting every where, you are welcome to stay at this place. Not even the hotel, the location where it is situated is full of labor class crowd. so spending so much money going a place like singapore and experiencing such thing is terrible. and topping it, there was a sharp iron... Initially I was left to fend for myself with my luggage which wasn't fun as I was exhausted! The formalities seemed to take ages altho' everything had been paid in advance! Once in my room which seemed MILES from the lift, things began to improve. Excellent breakfast and snacks and drinks whenever wanted! Upgraded to the 'Club' with larger room.... More

An aged hotel but you get what you pay for. Rooms are extremely dated, yet comfortable. The hotel is in need of a serious refurbishment. However, excellent location and very easy to travel around to all main attractions. The buffet breakfast in the morning is fantastic value. The real downside to this experience though is the staff. Staff are very... More

Maybe the whole of Singapore could smile a little more. Tourists seem to bother the Singaporeans, it so feels. Coming from South Asia where mist people are naturally very hospitable & helpful, Singaporeans seem to be the opposite. The rate was pretty high but came with a decent bathroom, a smart tv & a very comfortable bed. Downside was that... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
