We spent booked two rooms to accommodate my three girls, my wife and me. Singapore is incredibly expensive, so my advice is to use a budget hotel, like the Gallery. The rooms were clean and secure and the swimming pool a pleasant place to calm down after a day of facing the exorbitant prices of Singapore's Orchard Road. One night... More

It is a good hotel comparing with value of its rate. I have choosen the smokng room but was not good and breakfast was not rich enough. Front desk are helpful adn friendly. Location is not at the center. You need to take a taxi to go there around 5 minutes driving if no traffic. Airport around half an hour.

As a former expat in Singapore, it's always lovely to come "home" to Singapore. I really like the location of The Gallery Hotel, it's close enough to everything, but you still have the calm of the river. The hotel pitches itself as a "design boutique hotel", which I guess it was when it was new. Now the whole "boutique" thing... More

Stayed in this hotel during a business trip to Singapore last month.Overall the location of the hotel is good and it's closer to riverside, restauarnts, Bars and key landmarks. Only flip side is the nearest MRT station is bit far from the hotel but the bus stops are nearby. Taxi is available just outside the hotel and Taxi is cheap... More

I always go for company trip in SG and I always choose Gallery Hotel as the warm welcome of staffs make me feel comfort like living in my hometown even when I travel alone. Breakfast here also great with variety menu and suitable for all Asian style. The transportation is also easy with surrounded restaurant and accomodation. Even it's not... More

Would recommend this property to anyone that like to stay close to riverside/clarke. 10 minutes by walk. Nearby the hotel you will find many restaurants and bars as well. Excellent coffee across the hotel at boomarang (aussie pub). Good staff and service. The entry level rooms are quite basic and compact but overall good value for money.

great location, staff very helpful, handy to everything. Would stay here again. Price wise very reasonable. Very short walk to bus stops to all the key landmarks and areas around the city. Nice being so close to the river.

I had a pleasant two night stay in the Gallery and found the easy walk along the Singapore River to the CBD useful, the range of bars and restaurants only seconds walk from the hotel hand and the swimming pool a great relief (and very under used by others - I was alone each time I was swimming!). The only... More

Foto looks interesting and funky. It was a good deal at A$126. However, location is not the best and hard to get to if not using a taxi. MRT is a 20-30 minutes walk and public transport(bus) is not very convenient for a foreigner. Hotel itself is very dated, walls along corridor needs to be redone. On the 4th floor,... More

I stayed here before and the art on the ceiling back then scares me. But this time around they gave me a better looking room minus the decor on my ceiling.I was staying here because my normal corporate hotel was fully booked. I was pretty sceptical when i heard that this hotel is about to be refurbished so I was... More

Staying in The Quays

Neighborhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
