Good: Nice, clean rooms (although view hampered by a metal structure apparently meant to block heat from the sun). Staff was helpful. Location was quite nice close to the many restaurants and bars in Clarke Quay. Pool was nice too. In Singapore, this hotel was probably good value for money (except for 3 people in one room, see below). Bad:... More

Starting with the hotel which has facilities for double and triple rooms ( extra bed which makes the room smaller) Cleanliness is a point that should be supervised carefully. Location is close to Some pubs and restaurants near the river, 10 minutes walk of Clarks Quay. Regarding public transport you have to walk a little. 2 MRT stations quite close.... More

I believe they are preparing to refurbish the entire hotel. However that does not excuse leaving things go unrepaired for paying guests. Lift buttons and call indicators broken; lift broke down, thankfully while doors were half open at one floor; air-conditioning unit leaking water onto the floor near the front door of the room; toilets don't flush properly; shower rose... Gallery Hotel is located near Robertson Quay in Singapore. Check in was fast and friendly, with the front desk offering to fill in my personal details using my business card so that I needed to only sign the registration form. I was given a room on the 10th floor and was given clear instructions on going up to the fourth... More

We stayed for Christmas one week in this hotel. We were positively surprised by the quality of the rooms and the location close to the river. You are 15 min walk away from Clarkes Quay and Chinatown. If you like walking a bit to visit touridtic sites, this is a great place.

I arrived at 2am December 26th, had a friendly welcome, my original booking was for a twin room as that was what was available online, when I arrived I asked for a queen bed and was given one without hesitation. Went to my room, no towels, no toilet paper etc.. phoned the desk, they arrived within a few minutes.Staff were... More

I stayed with my wife and son for one night on 31/12, when booking what attracted me to the hotel was the gallery room (sleeps 3) and location, on Robertson quay. I had requested a River view on the off chance that if we were late we might see the new year fireworks. We were not late so not an... More

We stayed in the Book End part of the hotel. And while I do agree with previous reviews about the small bathrooms, everything else was fine. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. My kids and I loved the pool on the 5th floor, we used that every morning. Also it was an... More

It's a real dirty hotel room, with dust all over the tabletops, bed edges, and cabinets. Dust and dirt were all over the ground, not to mention under the bed. Staffs were friendly, even though they took ages to bring the stuffs I requested for. Reception was poorly designed, I couldnt even tell that was the reception booth. The lift... More

Staying in The Quays

Neighborhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
