I had stayed there for 5 nights and the Hotel rooms are good. However the complimentary breakfast is not good and they do not have choices. With the available food, it tastes bad. This Hotel is 15-20min. drive from teh Airport & is costs around S$150-180, but it worth a stay. This Hotel has mini bars on their other side,... more

When I was on assignment to Singapore, I had to stay for a week and my client booked me in Paramount at Marine Parade road. This hotel is nice and comfortable hotel. with basic minimum facilities, main attraction is location: It is in the heart of East coast of Singapore, where you have right across Parkway Parade- a big shopping... more

Sure my company booked me here (cost cutting I think) but it is nowhere near as bad as the reviews made out. I was on the 7th Floor so had no problem with noise but i thought the area was quiet, even with Katong Village out the back. Perhaps this 7th floor has been redecorated because it seemed perfectly fine... more

My clients, who will remain anonymous, always books me into this hotel as considered cheap so I have stayed 4 times. The hotel is awful rooms are dirty and smell unbearable. In 2007 room I had there were 100's of small bugs crawling over the wall behind the bed so had to move bed away. The bathrooms are in awful... more

The hotel was built in the 1970s and is trapped in a time warp. The reception and some areas have seen refurbishment but too much of the hotel is dated and tired. Arrival is strange as the car park has a barrier to keep shoppers out of the site. Staff were polite and helpful and the place was clean but... more

This hotel is between the city and the airport and we were given the room because we had to transit overnight. Although the hotel appeared a bit run down from outside it was pleasant and quiet (we were upgraded to the 7th floor away from the lifts). The staff were pleasant and the Kapong district had many cheap eateries. more

I work for a Singapore company, and they always put me in the Paramount. (Cheap company!) My first stay was in 2001, and I have probably spent over 12 weeks there since that time. This last stay was against my better judgement due to noise issues during recent trips, but it was a last minute trip. Years ago, the hotel... more

It was a reasonably priced hotel and therefore chosen as my overnight stay before heading back to the airport. The accommodation was clean but I agree with June 2007, the furnishings were a little tired, but then I wasn't paying top price either. I didn't see any of the other reviewers prostitutes or nightclubs, but then I didn't leave the... more

This hotel is due to be knocked down in a couple of months - its cheap and OK to stay in, but the "nightclubs" downstairs are what draw most male visitors. Phillipino and Vietnamese prostitutes at least 300 strong fill these clubs and entertain guests who venture there back at their rooms... more

My wife and I have spent 8 to 10 nights here in late May to early June for the last 3 years and will be returning next week. We have found the staff to be outstanding, the food good and the room nice. The furnishings are a little worn but everything in our room was comfortable. We asked for the... more
