Sure my company booked me here (cost cutting I think) but it is nowhere near as bad as the reviews made out. I was on the 7th Floor so had no problem with noise but i thought the area was quiet, even with Katong Village out the back. The hotel was built in the 1970s and is trapped in a time warp. The reception and some areas have seen refurbishment but too much of the hotel is dated and tired.
