We stayed at the Concorde hotel for 3 nights. Apparently, it was recently a Le Meridien because not all of my colleagues in Singapore or taxi drivers knew it by the Concorde name. booked a standard room through travel agent in melbourne , arrived and decided to upgrade to a premiere club room. This was the best $300AUD we have spent over 5 days. Great location on Orchard Road and pleasant breakfast atmosphere ... Access to hotel unusual and poor. Hotel overpriced for Singapore standard properties. House-keeping too found lacking and towels worn out. Can get better for the same price range. Casual approach displayed by Duty Managers on comments. No considerations either thereafter. more

The hotel has a very strange taxi and car pick up/drop off area located on the second floor with a shopping mall underneath which you pass through if walking out of the hotel on to Orchard Road. The little shopping mall has some simple shops and is a lttle tatty compared to the glitzy malls further up the road but... more

We were only there for two nights but during that time we found everthing to our expectations and were treated like VIPs.
