I booked this hotel as it was one of the cheapest in Singapore, so wasn't expecting much, however the hotel was amazing. It is in a great location in Chinatown, and you can walk to most of the attractions/ shops (although the MRT station is only next door). The reception staff were very helpful, and check in was great. I... more

Good Points: 1. When we arrived at the hotel it was around 7.30 in the morning and the usual checking in time is 14.00. However the hotel was nice enough to provide us with a room as soon as we arrived (we had booked 2 doubles) with the room being a triple (one huge double bed and a single) so... more

Hotel is good, rooms are excellent. Good value for the price we pay in Singapore. I would not rate this as the best in terms of service as the room service number kept on ringing and nobody picked up. I had to remind 3,4 times to the reception for an adapter. Located in the centre of the city near the... more

The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before. The stay comes with a complimentary breakfast. We were just expecting a few nibbles but breakfast is a lovely continental buffet spread with cheeses fruit pastries etc. The Bed was very comfortable and relaxing . Overall I would say this is probably the best economical hotel we have ever... more

We (a party of 2 parents and 3 grown up or growing children in 2 rooms) visited this hotel during late May for 2 nights. The hotel is located adjacent to the Chinese area, and its easy enough to find using the subway system. There are lots of places in which to eat nearby, and also lots of shops, etc.... more

The hotel is looking a bit tired, but it does the job and if the price is right you can't complain. The room was fine, and clean, bathroom probably in need of a refurb. If you ask for a city view room, you get great views towards the Singapore Flyer. Hotel is located in Chinatown, close to a subway station.... more

Check in is a breeze but no smile from the front counter staff at the 2nd floor lobby. Big lift buttons inside the lift but without security features. The walkway to the room is fresh and feel newly renovated, though the renovation has been carried out sometimes back. After opening door using the security card, is what you see the... more

This was the first stop in our RTW trip and we had a nice stay at the Furama City Centre. We loved the fact that the hotel was close to Chinatown and also to the MRT and also close to Clarke Quay which has some fantastic restaurants and bars. The first room we were assigned on arrival was not suitable... more

My wife and I took her father for a holiday to Singapore and we stayed at the Furama City Centre. The staff were very friendly and were kind enough to allow us an early check-in for one room. The hotel is located right next to Chinatown and is a 15 minute walk to Clarke Quay. The locality has lots of... more
