The hotel is by the river, so for runners or for those who just want to chill. It's a 30 minute walk to Clarke Quay and there are a lot of restaurants and bars along the side of the river. The rooms are ok. But the said thing was my lavatory was loose. But overall my stay was Ok

Good Hotel for stopover to recharge before heading back to Australia. Rooms large an well appointed. I did think they were a but mean with only one cake of soap. Housekeeping could have done a bit more. Mirror in bathroom marked when we checked in and still marked when we left. Reception and bar staff very helpful.

On check in, the receptionist offered us a suite with 2 bedrooms in the 6th floor (a king size bedroom + a twin bedroom) instead of the two superior Double Rooms I booked. That was a perfect choice for the family. In addition, I also booked a deluxe double or twin room with bay view in the 15th floor where... More

I stayed in this hotel on 10th July for one night. It's located on Havelock Road close to Singapore River. Rooms are big and specious. Staff is very good and friendly. Restaurant is big and serves you different variety of food. Good place to stay in Singapore.

Don't be fooled by the star rating this is a shocking hotel! The rooms smell of smoke, the staff on the front desk are rude and the hotel is very dated! Head to the Fullerton for an efficient and welcoming Asian experience that I didn't find here!

the room is clean, the staffs are very helpful and friendly; they do provide shuttle bus to certain areas and is only a short driving distance to MBS. pool is smaller than I expected; anyway, I will still be back for my next stay.

A little drama happened before my check-in. Booked the room 2-3 weeks in advance but was unpleasantly shocked to receive an email to have the decency to ask me to cancel my booking 2 days before my stay because the hotel was mistakenly overbooked. Obviously, anyone would be upset to hear about this! There was no effort in service recovery... More

This hotel has all the bells and gadgets one can imagine. Easy to find, close to the clark quay area for wining and dining etc. The hotel is not the newest, and if the furniture could speak, it would tell you it has done some serious milage, but bedsheets and towels are all clean. For one curious reason, in the... More

Stayed 3 nights in July 2015 in the Executive Club Deluxe Room after signing up and getting upgraded with M&C benefits. Good value there! Room was spotless and well designed. Room and cleaning service was great, a bunch of hardworking people with solid service. Club room on the 29th floor and the room itself had spectacular views of the Singapore... More

From their website, it appeared that the Grand Copthorne would be a nicer hotel than I found it to be. While it is "grand" and has good structure to be a luxury hotel, it suffers from wear and tear. Looking at it with a critical eye reveals worn wallpaper, water-faded wood surfaces, peeling paint in corners... The front desk staff... More

Staying in The Quays

Neighborhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
