Stayed here for work. The room was small but sufficient. Breakfast was pretty awful, stale in a cramped room. Other warnings suggest that it's best not to eat here at all. There is a fantastic food court five minutes walk behind the hotel. The hotel location is across a busy road from the waterfront. The price is expensive. Given that... More

Booked a last minute staycay at a very good price. No hiccups at check-in, $50 deposit needed. Was upgraded to a deluxe room which meant there is a balcony in the room. Had a choice of smoking or non smoking room. Size was ideal. Sofa in room. Twin beds. 1 was already spacious enough to be shared with my child.... More

We chose the Copthorne King's Hotel for its location and the size of their rooms. The hotel was centrally located and easy for our friends and relatives to pick us up without having to go into the thick of Orchard Road. We appreciated that older hotels like this tend to have larger rooms than the newer, modern hotels with their... More

We stayed here for 4 days on our 2 months Southeast Asia trip. We find the hotel very comfortable, the room size was adequate and so as the bathroom. The bed and pillows were also comfortable to have a good night sleep. The housekeeping service was prompt and good. The front desk and the concierge were friendly and helpful. The... More

Strictly as a hotel a good place to stay. Clean and comfortable, well managed, but... No inexpensive restaurants nearby. Zion place Riverfront food mall good for lunch. Breakfast in hotel OK, but buffet dinner expensive and not good, apparently aimed at mainland Chinese package tourists. Arctic bar with expensive drinks. Nowhere to sit in foyer, better to kill, time at... More

This place is materially cheaper than the 1st tier hotels nearer the CBD. It's a 30 min walk or 10 min taxi to boat quay. The rooms are good, the room service can be excellent or can be poor and the staff are ok. You get what you pay for. Good value, but the extras like decent internet you expect... More

A great hotel located close to Chinatown in particular and several shopping malls. Friendly, polite and VERY HELPFUL STAFF. A free hotel shuttle bus service all day long that takes you to Great World City, The Paragon and Plaza Singapura on Orchard Rd (the major shopping street) and to Chinatown. The hotel concierge can help you arrange coach excursions and... More

We stayed here on a stop over to Australia, booked by my travel agent. We found a clean and tidy hotel providing a very good breakfast with choice of European or Asian style items. I you are able to walk a little distance, then within a short time, you commence the river walk which takes you to many shopping and... More

I and my wife stayed in this hotel while holidaying in Singapore. Though this is a good hotel, but it does not offer anything spectacular. I requested the receptionist to give us a good room with good views. But the receptionist gave us a room with no view from the window. There was nothing to see from the window. The... More

Staying in The Quays

Neighborhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
