After difficult decision I chose Marina Mandarin hotel to be our base while discovering Singapore. When we arrived to the hotel there were friendly and happy doorman welcoming us. Check in gone smoothly although we had to wait for our room to be ready 10 minutes. I got the feeling that you really get your room 2pm, not a minute... More

Not as nice as the Meritus Mandarin on Orchard Road, but conveniently located if you're in the business district, and has a decent set of transport links/connections. Service was excellent, although the room itself was a bit run down. You get the sense that it's a bit past its prime; between the flights of stairs, and the oddly structured architecture,... More

Well positioned hotel MRT is very close Esplanade (Yellow) & Promenade(Blue) 3 min walk The train system is excellent which makes getting around the city very easy and much cooler than walking it. Many reviews have said WiFi & noise from atrium a problem but I have not found that to be the case staff are very friendly most helpful... More

I was there in marina mandarin recently. It a very nice hotel. Curteous staff at front desk and check in. Good rooms with nice view of the city. The best part is central location and connectivity to every place in Singapore. It's connected to marina square mall. Suntec City is just opposite and most of tourist destinations are nearby. Only... The location is very good, middle of orchard road and with a lot of shopping malls. Served good breakfast with many choices. Very quiet hotel with very good security measure. The swimming pool is a bit small but you are there for shopping and eating so forget about pool.

Located near the metro and connected to a shopping centre with great food court. The live bird song is a nice novelty. We upgraded to suite with balcony views of the marina and the Bay Sands hotel. Well worth it as this also includes breakfast and evening access to the lounge with unlimited drinks and snacks. Great stay.

The hotel is quite OK - very quiet. Nice that the restaurant Ruth's Chris is in this lobby - one of my favorites. Fantastic steaks - and service. Also the Meritud Club in 21st floor is nice - open from 6pm to 8 pm. Only two hours!!! But good food - sometimes very good. And also good wine availbale.

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighborhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
