I'll keep this one short. It's a Marriott and not one of their luxury venues that you sometimes see in Asia. Bog standard which is fine. You're going for consistency. I think it's the first Marriott I've stayed in outside of States and having lived offshore for the past 10 years. Location, excellent, right in the middle of Orchard Road.... more

I would agree with what most people have said about this hotel. It's in a great location, nice staff, nice lobby - all of which you would expect from a decent hotel in Singapore. Once thing to be wary of is since it is an older hotel, some of the rooms have connecting doors, including the one I stayed in.... more

The hotel offers great location, right in the middle of Orchard and next to Metro station. Don't eat at the hotel though...Singapore offers great food at very reasonable prices so there is no need to pay a fortune in the hotel's restaurant. more
