Although not the cleanest, it was a decent room for the price and in a good location in little india. There's no common room though so only stay there if you're not interested in socializing, though the room was better than any hostel room

This hotel is well placed for Little India, the Bus station and the MRT. The hotel provides room only. The hotel is damp and smells very musty. We had a double ensuite room. I've seen bigger and better bathrooms in a 2 berth caravan....if you weigh more than 10 stone, expect a struggle to get onto the loo! The room... More

We had the same experience as some one below. In the first two days we killed around 20 cockroaches in our room ranging from baby ones to large ones. The cleaner knew this was a problem and actually gave us some spray when he saw us in the corridor with the mini table they seemed to be coming from. The... More

friendly staff but unfortunately I have to agree with the "negative"reviews: bugs still there, smelly room. I got a room on the third floor, not too noisy. No stairs but it's fine with me I think this is due to the old building. Location is good though.

Mt third visit and I was not happy with the cleanliness and the service they offered me. From the front desk to the room was not a very present experience. The bathroom was not clean and the walls were mouldy.

The hotel is somewhat good. It's nice that my partner and I booked here and did not believe other reviews. The hotel is clean and so our room. We were given complimentary coffee everyday. Towels and toothbrush are provided but there's no shampoo and soap so we still bought it in the nearest Cheers store. It's 10-15 minutes walk to... More

I attended a 3-day conference in Suntec and stayed in this hotel. I was a little shocked at how small the room was, taking into consideration that it's a deluxe room for two people. Yes, the bed was big, and there was enough space for two tall men. But the room itself was really small. There was only about two... More

Great deal for 65 AUD per night, or so I thought. I saw a big roach on the bathroom wall. Went down and told he receptionist who sent an indian boy up with a can of raid. He sprayed the bathroom and left. I saw a few puny bugs a bit later on my bed but flicked them off. Later... More

We stayed in this hotel on January 2013. We found the hotel quite far from the MRT station. We ned to walk about 20 minutes from the nearby MRT station. Our check in process took about 30 minutes and room is not even ready at 2.00PM, they will ask you to wait until the room is ready. No lift for... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
