(Repeated at Keong Saik Hotel review) I've stayed twice at the Santa Grand Lai Chun Yuen (SGLCY) hotel and thought I'd split my stay with the Keong Saik Hotel (KS). Here's my comparison. Both hotels are about the same price with KS slightly higher. First impressions the SGLCY is very grand, while KS was very simple. The SGLCY lobby alone... More

Santa Hotel Lai Chun Yuen is right in the heart of Chinatown, with plenty of food stalls and little restaurants around it. Smith Street (a.k.a. 'Food Street') is just at the back. Also, the Chinese temple, Indian temple, Chinese Heritage House, and a couple of shopping centers are on walking distance. Metro station 5 mins. walk. The hotel, previously a... More

At first, I chose to stay this hotel because of its location and room pics shown in website. When making a reservation, I selected 'Double Deluxe' type. However, I surprisingly found that the actual room I got when checked in is totally different from room pics. Not only its room plan is weird but also the room is smaller than... More

Our daughter-in law recommended the hotel as it is conveniently located in Chinatown where there is a whole myriad of food stalls, day and night. It is also of walking distance to our children's apartment on Club Street (a street of European and American restaurants). The hotel staff are incredibly honest and display a strong sense of responsibility; they returned... More

We booked this hotel for 5 nights because we read on the agoda website of some good reviews & bad comments about the hotel. So we booked it. The hotel room is too small and no fridge inside the room to use if necessary for cooling. The bed was comfortable that made us happy & comfortable to sleep for the... More

Great location, we spent two nights at the Santa Grand Hotel Lai Chun Yuen. The room was very small but Location was very good. Room fridge but can drink coffee in the hallway space. Double room was booked, but it was nice for a change to a twin room

We spent three nights at the Santa Grand Lai Chun Yuen. The room was small but it was so well located on the corner, looking out through the shutters onto the hustle and bustle of Chinatown. The doof doof music had stopped by mid evening and the rest of the street noise was just the calming sound of shoppers footsteps... More

Great location, very close to the famous China town market which is literally just outside the door, restaurants and shopping centres. Great interior design of the hotel lobby. Room is a little small but it is value for money. Will come back again !

Too much small but nice! It was better if had windows & mini bar in rooms :) maby come back again at this hotel later. The best advantage is about the location... at the heart of Chinatown & near MRT station. I love that area. it is amazing . This hotel is suitable for couples not family and it is... More
