The hotel located near the China City Metro Station by 3 mins walk. Also, the staff are generally helpful and it also provides free wifi and hot drinks in the pantry. Room rates are good especially when you compared this with other hotels. However, because one of the 4 sides of the building face to a karaoke/night club, my couple... More

The toilets are amazing small and cramp that I think you will need to do your big business sitting sideways on the toilet seat. The shower heads is placed at the area where it wets your toilet seat rather than giving you shower. rooms were small, but its something that I can live without, but tiny toilets!! The only plus... This hotel has been born from an ancien chinese theatre. The main colour is red, red everywhere! Red walls, red sofas, red carpets, red doors... The rooms are comfortable and well designed. Unfortunatly our family room hadn't the window. But this might be a good thing because chinatown is very chaotic. The staff is very gentle and available for every... More

Nearly Chinatown MRT station, famous food street and souvenirs street. Clean, quietly, friendly. However, little room cramped. Beside SMIT street, it is a famous food street in Singapore. Next time, I will stay here too.

The rooms were so tiny! There was no fridge either! The shower is so horrible you would wet the floor and toilet area when showering and the basin legs would were rusty because of it getting wet the shower toilet and basin were in a 1M x 2 M extremely tiny! Would I stay here again? no.I was over charged... More

I often stay in Chinatown and this hotel worked out great. It is close to he MRT, surrounded by nice places to eat, lots of people from around the world makes it interesting, place its only a short walk (relatively) to Clarke Quay if you want some exercise and then you can train back. The hotel can be a bit... More

(Repeated at Keong Saik Hotel review) I've stayed twice at the Santa Grand Lai Chun Yuen (SGLCY) hotel and thought I'd split my stay with the Keong Saik Hotel (KS). Here's my comparison. Both hotels are about the same price with KS slightly higher. First impressions the SGLCY is very grand, while KS was very simple. The SGLCY lobby alone... More

Santa Hotel Lai Chun Yuen is right in the heart of Chinatown, with plenty of food stalls and little restaurants around it. Smith Street (a.k.a. 'Food Street') is just at the back. Also, the Chinese temple, Indian temple, Chinese Heritage House, and a couple of shopping centers are on walking distance. Metro station 5 mins. walk. The hotel, previously a... More

At first, I chose to stay this hotel because of its location and room pics shown in website. When making a reservation, I selected 'Double Deluxe' type. However, I surprisingly found that the actual room I got when checked in is totally different from room pics. Not only its room plan is weird but also the room is smaller than... More
