This is the second time we’ve stayed here this year, this time we stayed for 6 weeks, so you can tell we really like the place. Our room had a lovely large window overlooking the street, so immediately I wondered about noise at night. In fact we never had any serious problem after we settled at about 11.30pm. The mattress... We made a last minute decision to visit the formula one race in Singapore and hotel rates where ar an all time high. The new Cape inn was the cheapest option which wasn't too far away from an MRT station. Rooms very basic but clean. We didn't have a window (we were informed upfront) and there was a noisy fan... Actually i stayed for two days.. The hotel was clean, value for money and near to very big mall (about 8 minutes ) with different options of fast food. The disturbing thing was my room was nearby to elevator with annoyed sound at each turn visiting people to the floor. Some times make me to wake up at midnight.. :(... More

Very unimpressed. It smelt, it was very noisy, the bed was VERY uncomfortable, the towels were very old and grey, and one had been ripped almost in two. The girl on the front counter was helpful, but that was the only redeeming feature. Quite a walk to Chinatown. Go somewhere else....

I stayed at this hotel for a night when i was on a business trip in August and although the hotel was decent, tge receptionist was very unpleasant. I asked for a room abd she kept asking me why I'm staying alone and if I'm planning to bring a girl to the hotel for the night when i made it... More

Our hopes weren't exactly high for this inn, but we were quite happy with the room quality & location. We got a triple sharing room and it was large for Singapore standards. The mattresses were a bit hard but comfy enough especially with the pillows, blankets & covers. The room had an led tv & complimentary tea/coffee. Bathroom was clean... More

Travelled with older daughter and total stayed 10 days in this hotel. The room and the bath room are spacious and clean. We booked a room with one single bed and one double bed. They combined 2 single beds and push together and make it a big double bed. This is really good as the "double bed" become very big... More

Reasonably priced rooms with a very small fridge and ample shelves for storing clothes. Close to city centre and convenient for Sentosa. We stayed for over 2 weeks, so hope the review is reasonably comprehensive. Finding budget rooms which are comfortable in Singapore is a challenge. This hotel was a good solution for us. The staff were always friendly and... More

Spent 1 night with 4 people and choose a family room. First impression its a cheap hotel with small lobby and dirty lift, but once you open your room door, you can find clean and spacious room. In room 614 the bathroom was huge compare to other singapore budget hotels or even 3-4 stars hotels. Not far from outram park... More

Singapore itself is a very expensive city and the hotels are expensive beyond expectations. In my month long stay in Singapore I could afford to stay in 'New Cape Inn' in a very reasonable price with most facilities that was needed for me (120 Sing Dollars) The hotel is situated in Outram Park Road and is in 10 minutes walking...
