We stayed here 5 nights over two different occasions (flying into asia then again as we were flying out). Room; if you're going to stay in a dorm this is a very easy way to do it because the pods offer your own clean modern private space, with power plug, space next to bed and lamp. And it's a great... Close to business district and all fancy places , MRT is really close too . Don't expect to be talking to a lot of people thinking that its an hostel , people are usually very quiet which is possibly good for some. Everything is extremely professional and well maintained.

I was happy when stayed at wink hostel about 2 years ago, and after reading recent good reviews from tripadvisor, I decided to stay there again on my trip to Singapore last week. Location : Perfect, only 2 mins walk to/from Chinatown MRT station, busy area and many restaurants still open at late nite which make me feel safe if... More

Hi StellaIndonesia, We are very sorry. The cleaner concerned has been fired, and will not work at Wink. After seeing your post, we immediately contacted our cleaning company (unlike most hostels, we outsourced cleaning to a professional company to do the job). The cleaning company's owner has conveyed his deepest apologies as well. He just shared news that after investigations,... More

The hostel is located near Chinatown MRT, also many restaurants and a mall are near. The staff is polite and kind, help is always available. In the female only dorm I slept in a pod, very comfy. The beds are made almost daily. You get to monitor the air condition yourself so it's never too hot. Wifi works well. Sometimes... More

Very near to Chinatown food and vendors and MRT. First time staying in capsule hotel, slightly overpriced for the double pod but that's one of the best you can get in such great location in Singapore. Very clean room and environment with helpful staffs. Get the top pod to get more privacy but the bottom pod allows you to get... More

Comfy pod hostel. Location was excellent, one street over from the main Chinatown street and the MTR. Hostel staff really friendly. Beds were super comfy, soft sheets. Everything clean. And I was able to leave my things there all day and go back and shower before my 11pm flight.

great location: right next to the Chinatown mrt station. The staffs carried my luggage when I arrived and checked out. But they don't have air conditioning system except rooms, the kitchen and shower room was hot and humid. The upper bed or cabin was so inconvenient and quite dangerous. The wifi was horrible.

Probably one of the most budget hostel you can stay in Singapore! The pros of this hostel definitely overshadows its con. Most probably it's because of my own stupid decision but if ever they get to read this, they might want to reconsider. I booked the hotel since I chose to stay transient in Singapore before heading to New Delhi... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
