Hostel was very good. Clean. Every bed is with locker in room. In common room all people meet and you can find sb to hang around Singapore if you want :) for breakfast are toasts with cheese, nutella, peanut butter, jam and also you can eat muesli with milk. It was fine. Hostel is in the city centre. You can... More

Located very near to Clarke Quay MRT station, the location was just great, since most of us budget travellers use public transport to travel around. My friend and I chose to stay at the 6 bed female dorm, the hostel itself was very clean and comfy, I still remember the fluffy pillow and sheets, they were very comfortable I had... More

Rooms are really clean, staff are friendly and the Lounge is very 'chill'. Plenty of movies to choose from, free and fast internet. One of the better hostels around singapore. Will definitely choose this when I come back!

I had short stay (2 nights) but I felt very comfortable. The location is 200 meters away from MRT station and almost near to a MCD. The breakfast was simple and sufficient. Completely clean and very very friendly staff who contributed me a lot in terms of attractions, MRT routes, etc. The bathroom was also fine and didn't face a... More

Nice hostel, well located near the Boat Quay. About a 10 minute walk to the nearest train station, which is normally fine, although can be a little longer than ideal with luggage in the heat. Rooms were very clean with large lockers for everyone. Walls were a little on the thin-side, which was noticeable as my dorm room was right... More

Albeit a short stay I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very cosy, relaxing and unique, you feel at home. Staff super duper nice and cute, all necessary utilities like laundry, shower, lockers right beside your bed that fit cabin luggage, etc are available for free. The rooms looks and feel fresh. I can also say that while I was... More

We stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm. Room was basic but as expected. All clean but no fancy stuff. Rooms and elevator were locked with room card which kinda made this place feel secure. I liked that you have to get your shoes off at the entrance/just outside the elevator. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. You can leave... More

I was at five stones from the 20 th - 24th July . Saying anything would be less . It was much much more than what I paid . No star property could offer more . Thank you so much . A very friendly and smiling staff and located at the heart of Singapore . I will visit again and... More

My husband and I stayed here in a double room for three nights. The location is a plus, near Clarke Quay and the waterfront. It’s easy to walk to the water, MRT, shopping centres, pubs and food outlets. Make sure to have cash handy when you check in, as there is a $20 key deposit payable in cash only. The... More

Stayed in this hostel for 4 nights in June and loved every minute of it. It is a very reasonable price, is close to the major areas, and is clean and comfortable. The only thing I noticed was that it was a little far from the metro (I think around 12 minutes) and when we arrived it was strenuous carrying... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Singapore's best and friendliest hostel! With each of our rooms featuring interesting designs, Five Stones Hostel gives Singapore cultural elements a refreshing new lease of life. Quirky designs and decor characterize our spanking new boutique hostel. Boasting one of the best beds among Singapore hostels (8 inch orthopaedic spring mattresses, no less) and conveniently located within 10mins walking distance to the majority of Singapore's key tourist attractions, it's the latest addition to the plethora of high quality budget accommodation in Singapore which blurs the line between hostel and hotel. ... more   less
