I don't like the fact they separate girls and boys bathroom in the different floor. It will be better if they have boy and girls bathroom in each room. I like the location, the bed, the blanket, the pillow, the cleanlines, the breakfast, almost everything.

I'm not really a hostel person but I was happy to stay here. My friend and I were in a 4 bed female dorm for one night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the location on Beach Road was awesome...super close to everything we needed. The rooms are small, it is Singapore though..., and everything was super clean!... More

This hostel is located in the Arabic quarter and the famous Haji Lane is the next street over. About a 5 minute walk to the closest MRT station gets you anywhere in Singapore. I stayed in a mixed down and the beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Only negative is that staff would come to change the beds... More

Hi, Thanks for your kind review, it is great that we go from strength to strength in providing our guests with a clean, safe, friendly base in Singapore. I am a bit surprised however about your comment about our cleaning staff disturbing your sleep at 7am. I wish we could get our staff to work so early :) Seriously though,... More

They've thought of everything in this clean and friendly place! Key cards to get in the building and rooms, free washing machines, wifi, scooters for hire, great instructions for how to get there, lockers with built in locks. Staff are not super knowledgeable (there are heaps of them) but they're helpful and will just google any question Overall it was... More

Good welcome after Train trip from airport to Bugis Station then short fifteen minute walk to the hostel. Was looking to a good nights sleep, unfortunately the young ladies with their persistent use of the hair dryer and their insistence on leaving the bathroom door open, prevented a good nights sleep until after midnight. Not helpful when you are looking... More

I was so impressed with the location. It's not bang slap in the middle of little India and not too central to the busy area of the city. It's a 5 min walk to little India which is really cool, nice people. Bugis station is just round the corner, so handy (anyone who does what we did and went the... More

We are both over 50 but felt at ease in this clean friendly good locations hostel. Warm welcome, lovely room, basic but free breakfast, helpful staff. Slight mix up over pre-authorisation if card, but soon explained. Water in room, towels provided, good air con, pretty room but no window Only negative is the bathrooms: ladies and gents not on same... More

We arrived at Singapore at around 11:00 pm and are quite tired from the 5-8 minutes walk from bugis station mrt. The front desk staff welcomed us warmly, accommodated us quickly and showed us our rooms. The rooms were nice and had some paintings on them which showed different cultures and practices throughout Asia (i think), the rooms were cozy... More

Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
