I stayed at this hostel for two nights and overall was quite pleased. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is very good-- you're not at the centre of it at all but walking distance to both little India, right next door to Arab st (and all the great restaurants) and also walking distance to the golden mile... The staff are very friendly and willing to help you navigate or give you tips on where to go, where to shop or where to eat. When I stayed they offered a food tour, which I went on and it was very nice to be treated to some local food at a hawker center close to the hostel. The facilities... More

Great place with a cheap, comfortable dorm. Good buffet breakfast with good variety of cereals, toast, jams, fruits, even Nutella! Free coffee and tea all day long, and free use of laundry machines. Clean, nice showers and bathrooms. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great wifi. Excellent location in my opinion. Close walk to the main touristy places, nice restaurants around,... More

The best hostel in Singapore, my best area is the living room during breakfast or afternoon tea where you can meet other guests hanging out in this cozy living room. the staff are also nice and serve you with smile.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nicely decorated hostel for solo and group travellers. There are male and female dorms or mixed gender dorms, it's up to you which one you want to book. Breakfast is included with the price of the bed, you can choose toast with a selection of toppings (Nutella, butter, jam, peanut butter etc) and four... More

Very good hostel! Very close to everything, you can just walk otherwise the MRT(metro) is nearby. In a good area to party at night (but no noise inside of the hostel). Hostel is pretty new, shower are ok (they give you shampoo and shower gel). Towel is not incl. but you can rent one. No need to pay for the... More

I stayed here for three nights in a twin bunk room. The room was quite small with no windows but perfectly clean, with very comfortable beds and a tv, and good value by Singapore standards. The hostel was generally quite quiet although there did seem to be a lot of residents who were keen on using the noisy hairdryer well... More

Yes singapore is an expensive ciy. This isnt a cheap hostel but for singapore def good price quality balance! Hostel is a 10 min walk from mrt, sounds a lot but the route takes you through a nice neighbourhood. Staff was very helpfull, gave us some valuable tips when we asked. Breakfast is ok; not too much choice but enough... More

The hostel is pricey but worth it. Located within walking distance from the Bugis metro station on the outskirts of Little Arabia. Enough places to eat and have drinks around the hostel. Rooms are newly decorated in classy IKEA. The AC is magical. Lacking storeroom and noise from the hallway will penetrate the room. Especially the bloody hairdryer! The only... More

Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
