Didn't get to see many reviews before staying here. The location was near public transport, however we were not very comfortable with the room. The room didn’t smell too great, also we found the bed not very comfortable. The bathroom could be cleaner.

October was our first trip to Singapore and we had booked Le Imperial Hotel online throught Agoda. When we arrived to that Hotel (as they nominated themselves as a Hotel), we were completely shocked with the apparence of that hotel. How can such small house and uncomfortable place can be a hotel in Singapore? I always heard from many friends... More

This Hotel has a great location but its in need of a good clean, the dust was thick under the beds and the cockroaches loved it. We were taken to our room by the man in reception and when he turned the lights on they ran for cover. He brushed them aside and said there werent many. After finding another... More

I choose this off a booking site due to it's location and the description. I am very disappointed. Okay - the location is great. The lively Little India is a great place to be and so much going on day or night. The huge Mustafa department store is right there. Wow. Even a short walk to Sim Lim. But the... More

We stayed in Le Imperial for three nights. The room had air-conditioning, toilet, shower room. It was very clean, although the décor was a bit tired. There were a few scuffs on the walls and the curtains needed replaced. Even though we were in the middle of Little India in Singapore, the room was incredibly quiet. The two receptionists were... Was here with my wife and In laws and we booked 2 delux queen. OK size, clean, with proper and decent room service everyday. Very safe I must say . Excellent customer service as all our needs were addressed in no time. Few steps away from Mustafa but still we had peacefull night without any disturbance/noise from outside as the... More

Just happened to read the last review, which made me surprised. Maybe someone might have had a bitter experience but mine was amazing. Hotel is neat and tidy with decent staff who speaks several languages (English, Singaporean Chinese, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Urdu). Since it is comparatively a new Hotel, I was asked for a feedback over the services every... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
