I booked 2 nights in this hotel and I can say that the room is okay and clean enough. We had problems with Lufthansa strike, and the receptionist arranged us a room earlier, so we stayed 3 nights. They even did us a free room upgrade :) There is a free WI-FI, security, free luggage room and 24 hours reception.... More

I know that by Singapore standards, and for the price we paid, we wouldn't get a big room. I was okay with that BUT, the rooms were just awful. We were a group of 6 and 2 of the 3 bedrooms we booked smelt humidity and the paper on the walls were falling down. Many parts of the "bathroom" were... More

Cost wise, one can get better rooms in the same range. As these rooms as exceptionally small. Havent seen anything like this ever. To be honest, you cant bend in the room without hitting a wall..thats the space available after bed, table and 'in room' shower have been placed. Location is good no doubt. But i would never want to... More

Singapore the way it is, you'd be lucky to find a hotel room with change from $100.00 give or take so the BLP as it was known was a good choice for a couple of nights layover. It is right smack in the middle of A-list properties so the neighborhood is not bad and that was a big plus out... More

Hotel is now called Econ Inn @ Beach Road We think spending 10 or 20 more dollars in any other hotel would have the advantage of: - Having windows in your room - Having your room cleaned at least ONCE during a 3 nights stay - Not having a smelly glass panel toilet inside the room - Having bedsheets -... I booked 3 nights in this hotel and I can say that the room is okay and clean enough. The receptionist- the Chinese guy is very helpful and knows to speak English (but he's not that fluent though), the other receptionist at night is also helpful since he let us borrow a plug for our camera's, There is a free... Me and husband suddenly decided to have a short travel to SIngapore. So we need a cheap hotel with good location and private bathroom which uneasy to find in Singapore. Then we found this hotel. Located 3 minutes walk to Bugis Junction, 1 minute to bus stop, Subway, Starbucks, 7-11, kopitiam and eateries, BLP is so worth its price: I... More

Initially we have booked this hotel several nights but we ended up to stay only one night. We saw 2 different rooms in the BLP. Size is ok but the room is cold. You have no real privacy with the bathroom. It is separate from the room with a tinted glass which becomes almost transparent when it is getting wet... More

This is a last minute found for us. It was 130 SGD for a standard double room and we found it a bit pricey cause the rooms were really really small. Pros: The room was clean with free coffee and bottles of water. The hotel is in a great location. 5minute walk (or less) to Bugis Junction where we can... More
