Room was cosy, decent space, would say 20% bigger than usual hotel 81 room with queen size bed. Comfortable clean bed and pillows. We got a bathtub instead of stand up shower room. Plus point on that! Sufficient lighting and good service. Unlike other outlets located at bugis and bencoolen, those 2 were more than a tad run down and... More

The hotel had small rooms. It was soso clean. Only had one power out-let and wifi was not so good. Okey for e-mailing but not for youtube etc. Reception personal should go a service course. You get what you pay for.

This clean budget hotel is located in Chinatown area but it's not so near to the central buzzing shops, stalls & restaurants which offer everything mainly related to Chinese culture. On the other hand, it's very near to some trendy pubs & bars which attracted lots of foreign tourists and locals alike, and it's within walking distance to the nearby... More

This is so-called 2 star hotel in Singapore but the rate is deserved 3star or 4 star in comparison with our hotel in the other countries. :D although I know Singapore is modern and expensive in terms of all things :D. I got double room but it's quite small but no more things except a place for sleeping: no windows... More

The room was too small. I was expecting 2 separate beds since my i'm sharing a room with one of my colleagues. They gave us 1 double size bed (not queen size bed). Our room was at the 4th floor and the elevator was until in level 3, so we use the stairs to reach our room. The closest was... More

Room has no window. Extremely small. Strange smell. One outlet to charge your electronics... House keeping skipped my room! Front desk had no idea.. they did provide towels and offered to pick up trash... but at 11;00 PM when you come back to hotel and see a messy room as it is you surely are upset! I checked out the... The rooms are very small. My room was located on the 4th floor, however the lifts only give you access to the 3rd floor. You will need to take the stairs another floor up to find the room. There was no remote to adjust the air-cond neither was there a switch to turn it off. It was really cold and... More

The room was not so clean, lots of hair and pretty small, we couldn't open the windows because they were sealed. Felt like living in a cell. Bathroom/toilet was okay but there was no shower curtain so when you shower, you will wet the floor. Will not come back to this hotel.

This is a great location if you want to explore the heart of Singapore! Because it is located just behind Chinatown! And next to it there are few bars and pubs for your selection if u want to chill out at night. However, the check-in staff was a little bit rude when he talking to us. I understand is budget... Small and friendly hotel. Nothing fancy, but clean and right in the center. 5min walk from chinatown station and Outram Park. Surrounded by little restaurant and food court. -ask for a room with a window

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
