Stayed here for 2 nights and it was great! I got a sleeping pod. The bed is enclosed and has a privacy curtain. Each pod had its own flat screen accompanied with Beats headphones. There was hundreds of new movies to choose from, youtube, & internet available on each TV. The internet was very fast and reliable. I never wanted... More

The location of this hostel is centrally located in Singapore it is in the Chinatown near the MRT Station, you should take the Exit E which is the nearest from the hostel. There's a lot of restaurant around this area and near the tourist spot Tooth Relic Buddha Temple and a mall which is Chinatown Point. The hostel's pod is... More

Overwhelmed by the myriad of hostel choices available in Singapore, I finally settled upon Bohemian Chic and am glad I did. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always happy to answer my questions etc. The place was extremely clean and seemed to be kept that way consistently. I stayed one night in one of the 'pods' - a little... More

+ Nice and comfortable public room with nice silent music. Nice and friendly stuff. Clean - even the aircon get cleaned once a week. Fresh air in the sleeping area. Very fast Internet all the time in every room. Close to Metro. Also you could walk to marina bay and the most other places after the subway stopped at midnight.... More

It´s located in a perfect spot, in the middle of chinatown, walking distance to main spots and just 2 min to the underground station. If you need something just ask Michael, he is your man in Singapore. Highly recommendable.

A little pricey for a hostel as there are other options out there, but if in your pricepoint, you should definitely consider booking here! Read some reviews about how the sleeping area is spooky/too quiet, but I think the point here is segmentation. They have common areas for where people can stay up as long as they can; but quiet... I stayed at the bohemian (am confused by the bohemian vs the toast and pillow). I booked into a 4 bed dorm but got upgraded to the pod. I loved it! The pod had a plasma screen with all the latest films, was provided with headphones which were great and everything was lovely and clean. The shower was nice and... More

The worst experience I have ever been , i couldn't image that my shoes was lost INSIDE. Yes, exactly! INSIDE THE BOHEMIAN ! And i lost it in 2 minutes. When i asked you for helping, the first words you said that: " we hadn't recommended you left your shoes here" OMG! So where else i could leave it, in... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
