The worst experience I have ever been , i couldn't image that my shoes was lost INSIDE. Yes, exactly! INSIDE THE BOHEMIAN ! And i lost it in 2 minutes. When i asked you for helping, the first words you said that: " we hadn't recommended you left your shoes here" OMG! So where else i could leave it, in... More

I booked for 4-bed female dorm but they upgraded(?) me to the capsule instead. It's clean and comfortable. All Staffs took care of me with carefulness even I had to check out in 2 AM. in the morning. He was waiting until he make sure I got a cap to the airport and gave me some sandwich before I got... More

I booked at other hostel, however they upgraded me to the capsule one on no 13 mosque st. To my suprised, the capsule was private, own tv with headphone, free wifi, locker under the bed, breakfast. I did not stay for breakfast because I had to leave early. Definitely will come back. This place has changed my view upon staying... More

We had booked a hotel somewhere else but the hotel did not have the room we booked available. The hotel management transferred us to this and was worth it. Hospitable, polite, accommodating people. The hotel is also located a few blocks beside the China town. I love this and will definitely will recommend. Good job!

This is a pretty standard hostel, amazing value for money compared to other accommodation in Singapore. The beds were fine, there were lockers in the room and breakfast was included. The location was pretty good, close to the metro so can get to most places easily. They were helpful at the desk too, giving advice on where to go etc

Everything is as described in the website - close proximity to Chinatown MRT station, convenience stores and restaurants, free breakfast which comes with toast, spread, cereals. I felt very safe staying in this hostel, security is great for solo female traveler. They basically have everything I look for in a hostel - comfortable beds, provided clean linen and towels, showers,... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Only discovered they dont take card payments when we checked in which was inconvenient. The hostel is tired looking and of average cleanliness, not great The toilets are outside but the showers are inside. Bread, biscuits, tea, coffee available at breakfast to make your own with. Reception staff not that helpful but I felt... More

I stayed two nights in this place. It was comfortable and enjoyable. The bed was nice and the reception staff was helpful. They only offered bread and jams for breakfast but it was okay. They have about 4 showers in total and 2 toilets. There are many food places a walking distance from the hostel.

I stayed there 3 nights. Everything was so perfect. Only one thing is I got bitten by bed bugs on the bed no.7 in room number 2C. Even though I sent the e-mail to them before I arrive that I don't wanna stay in the room that had bed bugs... (I knew later that they have bed bugs problem after... More

My sister and I spent two nights with this backpacker's inn. With the rate per night for a hostel, we didn't expect so much from here. But upon checking in, the front desk staff already made us feel comfortable. They speak good English too! We didn't have a hard time communicating to them our needs. When it comes to the... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
