The hotel were located at Singapore red light district. Which make it safe to. Walk on the night. Food also everywhere around corners. Grocery store just next to the hotel. Bus stop is within 5 minutes walk. MRT station is within 20 minutes walk. The hotel has no lift or escalator. The steps are quite steep, handrail provided. We stay... More

For location I would give it a 10/10 5 Minuit walk from the mrt (train station) and the line takes you straight to the airport, however a cab will cost between 15-20 sing dollars. but if you wanted to get anywhere else it's very easy and direct. Room has no window which isn't listed on booking, com also they add hidden... More

The positives of this hotel are the nice friendly staff and also its location. The SMRT station is located just few minutes away. The rooms are small, cleaned every day, huge and very positive surprise was that they give you new bottles of water every day but.. ... (the minuses here) the bathroom was old, not renewed in a very... More

This is a typical cheapest of the cheap asian city hotel, very similar to ones I have stayed in in KL china town, except that it is in Singapore so it is ridiculously overpriced! If we had any more money to spare at all we would have got a better place, but we really did want the cheapest and so... More

Not like other reviews that I have read before I booked this one. I actually liked the 3 nights I stayed in this hotel. The 60SGD per night was well worth it. Pros , good location for food and entertainments. there is small markets right next door, you can get all the little things you miss packed. The food near... More

Singapore's glamor and chic image can be swiftly demolished by little inns like this which masquerade as hotels and sell themselves online as elegant places. Best example of what photoshop can do. One night in this dingy, decrepit place was all it took for us to realize that all the glossy magazines and handsome pictures of this garden city have... More

At $48 a night for Singapore I wasn't expecting that much, however I was at least expecting the room to be as clean as the streets were. Unfortunately I was met with quite a dirty room with broken electrical sockets, shoddy drywall patching and caulking, and a bathroom dirtier than some of the garbage cans on the road. The room... Funny, when I arrived the man at the reception was on his pc and did not notice me. I sat down in the sofa and waited. He turned his head and said: "back?" At the same time a young couple came down to ask "are all rooms this size?" The cheaper rooms are very small indeed. Ask for a deluxe... More

This is a hotel located in Geylang. It is very close to the Aljuneid Metro station. This is an OK place to stay for a solo budget traveler. The front office & housekeeping staff are very friendly and accomodative.

Staying in Geylang

Neighborhood Profile
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city center, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colorful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
