We just leaved our baggage at the hotel and collected them at about 6 pm after we check out at about 12pm because our flight was at 10:30pm. We will choose this hotel for our next trip. The location is just five minutes walking distance from Chinatown MRT.

Well I wanted a cheap but decent hotel on purple line, as my office is at Dhoby Ghaut.. And this is bang on the middle of china town. Lovely staff, front office and housekeeping. Should allow early or late checkins though!!

Great place for a budget stay. Convenient and clean. Will go there again for a staycation when there is time. The location is great for some supper since there is a variety of food everywhere. You can also do some souvenir shopping since there is a street of souvenir shops.

Room smelly, with ants and some bugs. Hotel should do some pest control and carpet washing to reduce the insect and smell. Mattress could be of better quality as some mattress has really worn out. Friendly staffs and very conveniently located.

First impression of the room is tiny and moist, it's not like what they showed on the website,, it's much smaller,, there's even no room for opening my luggage,, the floor is so moist and feels so sticky,, The staff was fairly ok, but only the room is the problem,, it's different from the room described on the website,,and also... Nice Place, clean but room is small. You have free coffee outside every morning from the coffee machine. Although there wasn't any on my last day of stay. Hotel is just a few steps away from MRT. And what's best, chinatown street food is just downstairs. Very convenient location to say the least. I would recommend this place to friends... More

We stayed for a few days, lovely central location in chinatown. The room was quite big for Singapore, clean and we upgraded our room so we got a room with balcony which was great. The hotel itself is like other buildings in chinatown with old architecture. the corridors were letting this hotel down, they were dark, all windows were closed,... More

- Very good location, just 3 mins next to MRT station, - Hotel a bit old but still ok for short stay, - Single room without window and big beg, - Air condition is good, - Toilet was too small but water was hot enough, - Don't expect too much service but value for budget traveller

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
