Booked the standard with wifi and minibar. Free drinks in the minibar: very good. Wifi speed: OK. Room size: tight, bathroom was decent size. Room in general: clean, locker, mattress and pillows not bad, but no window ahhh. Staff: Very nice and even postponed my booking due to an emergency with no charge! Breakfast; Simple. Nothing fancy. Small area. Location:... More

Stayed here for a night during a recent business trip. The hotel room is tiny and I was fooled by the curtains in the room. Behind the curtains, it's a wall! That tiny windowless room makes me feel suffocated. Also, the entire room is just very small and it's hard to walk around even if you just have a medium... More

Surprisingly compact room with a full-size bath and a comfortable enough bed. It's more for travellers who prefer a noise-free shut eye after a day of sightseeing. It's a budget hotel so don't expect spectacular views and 24-hour room service. My only complain - there were no eggs for breakfast which was quite sad. If you are a fuss-free traveller... More

This hotel unique room design is very compact but manage to squeeze in a full size bath for the soothing bubbling spa. Its complete windowless makes getting shut eyes easy and no ambience street noise at all. Its complimentary breakfast gives a real boost for the intrepid explorer. Best value for money and its location superb.

The hotel is easy to find and walking distance from MRT station which was a plus point. Hotel is clean but we didn't use housekeeping service so nothing much to comment. Breakfast included in our room package and its equally worth with the price we are paying. If you are traveling light it's fine, remember don't bring big luggage when... More

We booked this hotel, as our other friends were staying in this hotel during our trip. It is conveniently located in Little India, a 10 min walk away from the MRT station, 10 mins from Mustafa in the opposite direction, and 5-10 min walk to other restaurants on Serangoon Road. Upon arrival, the reception staff were not very friendly initially,... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
