First of all the photos on website are false, first room we were shown was disgusting without any windows and with awful smell.Definitely didn't expect this after 12 hour flight. There wasn't any bed, its was just a double mattress thrown on the floor. We became horrified when saw this and asked reception if we could get our money back and... More

There's ups and downs for this hotel. I booked this hotel for my fiancé as I wanted to celebrate his birthday with him and our close friends. It wasn't spacious, to my surprise, as compared to the photos! Good thing about this hotel though that it wasn't difficult to go. Very near to the MRT station. Front counter receptionists were... I had learned all about the windows issue and from the reviews from this website before checking-in, so I thought I came prepared, boy was I wrong...here are just the top 5 amongst other things that I wanted to complain about: 1. Booked executive suite (second highest class available), was assured that the room has a window, turns out that... More

We arrived at 4 in the morning and the first room they showed us had a terrible damp smell. We then proceeded to try out at least 4 other rooms (two of which had a strong cigarette smell despite being non smoker, two were so ridiculously small we couldnt even put our luggage down). In the end we got a... More

A decent hotel for a short stay. Hotel room is small but acceptable for two person stay. Came with a small bathtub in the room which we get to enjoy too :) Breakfast spread is decent with small spread of items.. Overall is a good and comfy stay. Will not revisit unless there is promotion again.

A dreadful experience. For something claiming to be an "executive suite" and the second most expensive room in the hotel, the rooms were very small, and poorly laid out. If that's not enough, the floors reek of damp and chlorine (enough to make you gag and run to your room so you're not physically sick). To top it all off,... More

1. The electric kettle provided was stained with unidentified brownish black sediments which we wouldn't have detected if we weren't careful. 2. Online pictures of the hotel are completely deceiving. Don't have too high of an expectation. We were shocked to see the state of the room. To cut to the chase, we changed to a lower category room which... More

Moon23 offers a little boutique bubble in Little India. The focus here is on the word 'Little' and that is the bedrooms. Perfect for one person, ideal for two petit travellers but if you're expecting to spread out and hide your case it's going to be a challenge. Design elements unfortunately fail at this establishment recommended by the likes of... More

Hi Orkyouree & partner, Greetings from Moon 23 Hotel. Sorry that our room size did not meet your expectation. In fact, the Management is looking into upsize the room in due course as we need to study the building structure. We are also looking at adding more items to the breakfast menu. Last but not least thank you for your... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
