Nice an clean place. The price is good and the location was not too bad. It's about a 10 minute walk to the MRT. Stayed for 2 days only issue is room is very very small. You have two choices in the room lay on the bed or go to the bathroom and I was only one person. Can't imagine... More

I stayed here for a night for my business travel. The hotel is located in a dead alley on Dickson street. But you have access to great options of Indian food which is nice. The complementary breakfast was average and limited. Though hotel rooms were clean and cosy despite being small and windowless. The bathroom plumbing was nice and can... More

Rooms are really small, but clean. Location is good, easy to get everywhere. Good restaurants nearby. Service was fine, young staff mostly. The breakfast, though choices were limited, was ok. No sewage smell during our stay. I would stay here again. It's far from perfect but it is an experience.

If you're into that fresh sewage smell, the Moon Hotel is for you. Upon entering the lobby, you'll be hit with a strong blast of air freshener. Don't let that fool you though, the good stuff is upstairs...but we'll get to that later. Ace of Base is almost certainly playing in the lobby, as one of their 3 hits is... More

Housekeeping and the service was very bad, ): Firstly, we were allocated to a dirty room even though we checked in late. Secondly, no service was rendered to help us move our luggage from the dirty room to the clean one. Thirdly, in the new room we were allocated, there were no toiletries and fourthly, the mini bar was not... More

The Hospitality was great. The rooms were clean but no space to move at all. There were not too many things for the breakfast. The choices are poor but the food was in good quality. In overall its value for money and I can recommend this hotel for a short stay. Good if you don't stay much in the room and... More

We booked a room at this hotel, in person, at the reception desk. I asked for a non-smoking room with 2 twin beds. These requests were accommodated, but the person at the desk neglected to say: "oh, by the way, you should know there is no window in the room." Our fault for not seeing the room before we paid.... The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Little India MRT. Tourists may not find this place easy to locate without using a GPS. Upon checking in, the female manager did not give eye contact, nor did she greet us. She was facing the monitor engrossed in doing whatever she was doing. The front desk staff were friendly. However, I... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
