This is a great little hotel. It's pretty compact - so don't expect a spacious room - but small can be beautiful too. The design is imaginative and quirky, along art/boutique lines. We deliberately chose an area with character - Little India - which certainly feels more chaotic and gritty than much of Singapore. So it was nice too to... More

The concept of the hotel sums up the kind of guests that the hotel accommodates. It is weird to have your friends around while the rest of them are mostly couples. Anyhow, Wanderlust has impressed me with their hospitality, in comparison to their other Unlisted Collection hotels. Their rooms are amazingly clean and their service is comparable to many 5... I've reserved a room of this hotel through Expedia after having read previous customers positive reviews. My feedback will be under the average of the feedback left in this forum and in the following few lines I'll try to explain the why. There are 4 main aspects I usually take into consideration when writing a review of an hotel: 1... More

Excellent service, all the staff are very friendly, offering chilled water and wifi on arrival. The hotel is very well located in the little india district, easily allowing us to see a good amount of Singapore in the 3 days we were there. We stayed in the treetop themed room, so much fun! Only reservation would be for older people... More

Fab location. Small rooms but perfect for a city visit. Extremely comfortable bed and bedding (best duvet ever). Gorgeous breakfast. Good value for money in an otherwise expensive city. Lovely staff. One thing, as the rooms are so small I would only recommend the hotel for people who know each other very well.

Hi LouiseEoin, Greetings from Wanderlust! Thanks so much for this review. It will serve as a helpful guide for fellow travellers. The Pantone rooms on the second floor are modeled after capsule rooms which were meant to be compact. Perhaps in your next visit we could have you try the Mono rooms which are more spacious or even try our... More

Wanderlust is everything I want in a hotel: small, unique, provide services beyond other hotels, great facilities and location. The photos of the rooms represent that side of the hotel quite clearly but what really surprised me were the facilities provided in my monochrome origami room - a mobile phone with prepaid data and even international calls! The wifi in... More

Stayed for a night during the national day long weekend, I had the princess room and loved the decor. The only downside is I chose to have a queen bed when booking the room, basically they just combine 2 single beds together which was a little uncomfortable as the gap between the beds widens a little when you move around... Great hotel with service minded personal. Close to everything - located in Little India. Pool/Spa on the roof. Good restaurant. Best of all: they provided us with a Handy (a 3g phone). The Handy was installed with a Google map so it helped us while we walked around the city (we walked everywhere). It had also a couple of "favorite"... More

We stopped for a couple of nights in Singapore at Wanderlust in Little India. Everything in this Hotel is very well thought out. On arrival your given a small A6 guide book to some of the more hidden treasures of Little India which I recommend. Your given a smartphone to use if needed (we didn't but a good idea). The... More

I was intrigued the moment i stepped into the lobby. The lounge deco was simply eclectic and vintage. The different items were put together very nicely to give a retro feel. The service at reception was great. Very friendly staff throughout the stay. The lift was under maintenance hence i was led to the room through the staircase which surprised... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
