My wife and I were doing a cruise out of Singapore and we needed a hotel for one night. This was a great choice. It is in Little India, which is a little bit away from the airport. We just went to the ground transport desk at the airport and arranged a shuttle to the hotel. It was much cheaper... More

We stayed in Wanderlust Hotel for a one night Valentines staycation. I love the quirky vibe of the place. I like the jacuzzi area. We got the Pantone room in Purple color. I like the lobby and their restaurant, THE COCOTTE. But I don't like the location of the place because it is a bit hidden but the advantage it... More

This hotel is good if you prefer small and personal rather than the large internationals nearer the city centre. The rooms are apparently all different designs - ours was very pink, also made the most of a very small space - getting in and out of bed wasn't that easy! However it was very comfortable and clean and there was... More

I love the total ambience of the hotel lobby. It gives a cosy nostalgic feel to the the streets nearby. I love the "Tree" theme room..gives you a feel like you are sleeping in a treetop loft. Gives you that cosy intimate feel... Staff were wonderful and friendly..definitely coming back again soon.. 😊

Had the luxury of getting the whimsical rooms for my 2 night stay at Wanderlust, the first the ACSII room, the second the space room. ACSII room was AMAZEEEEEZIING. i love their use of layered bricks that created uneven spaces to put small items on the wall. (Although i left a small perfume bottle on it and was not recovered,... This hotel has a good design and funky elements. The location is ok but not fantastic so if location is important this is not the hotel for you. The staff were not very interactive and this was unfortunate considering the intimate nature of this boutique property as well as the decor and its edginess. I would have expected them to... More

I arrived very late at night and the staff were friendly and happy to greet me. I stayed in a Pantone room which was very cool I would say are only big enough for one person without a lot of luggage. Cons: To get into the bed you needed to climb a couple of stairs to get in and the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay early in the New Year, quirky hotel in an interesting location. The booking process was straightforward, special requests acknowledged straight away. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and courteous staff who took a lot of time to explain gadgets and services available. The room (Monotone) was actually more spacious than expected after reading... More

We were prepared after reading tripadvisor reviews and almost all was as we expected. Nice hip rooms, but somewhat small, very friendly personnel, good breakfast, near to public transport. Okay for a short stay, for a longer stay book a larger room elsewhere.

Hi jooplent, Thank you for your kind compliments. The Wanderlust team is very pleased to know that you enjoyed your stay. The rooms on the 2nd floor are capsule-like hence more cosy and compact. But if space is a factor, the rooms on the third and forth floor will be the ideal rooms. It is good to know that you... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
