We stayed here for a few days and it was great. Great location. Surrounded by shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. An easy walk to china town and MRT. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were wonderful. . They have a rooftop restaurant, the food was alright. Wifi was okay in the room. Definitely recommended.

This hotel is located on Ann Sang Hill, on the border between Chinatown and the CBD. It is walking distance from both and a pleasant area to stay if you are in Singapore for business or pleasure. Located in Club Street there are plenty of restaurants and bars and restaurants in the street and also in the immediate area. Rooms... More

The hotel is situated just a short distance from the main area of China Town. Black and white decor with large rooms. Close to bars, cafes and the Maxwell food centre. An easy walk to China Town and the MRT.

Stayed there in a twin room with a friend for 3 nights. Room size was great and booked on agoda so good price. What let's this place down is it's lack of service. When we arrived there were two people behind the desk unoccupied and yet no one opened the door or helped us with our luggage. I am pregnant... More

I stayed there at the beginning of August. The hotel and the neighborhood are loud and happening on Friday and Saturday. Not quite what I expected when I arrived at 1 am on Saturday morning after my long flight. The club across the street seemed to be in my bedroom. I woke up ready to leave the next day, but... More

Breakfast is very bad, Internet is slow and walls need a new coat of paint. Having said that, the rest is quite nice. The design is really pleasing, the rooms well sized and even large for Singapore. The location is fabulous - right where the action is without too much nightly rabble. I also appreciated the boutique nature, in spite... More

I contacted the hotel prior to booking with the dates and ages of our children to ascertain if it was suitable for families and was assured it would be fine. No mention was made of the lack of twin rooms. We arrived at 3am to discover we had a two doubles. We were provided with a mattress on the floor... More

The hotel can call itself boutique, but definitely not luxury. Fittings and beddings are very cheap. Black smudges on furniture and walls. My feet feels itchy standing on the carpet for 3 min. I felt itchy sleeping on the bed. Cold reception. Staff budging into our room after only 2 rings on the doorbell. Great location, beautiful building. Management could... More

Stayed 2 nights for a romantic getaway. Very unfriendly check in and no help to bring luggage to room. Room is shabby in parts and we were kept awake by very loud party on the rooftop until the early hours of the morning. Coffee in the cafe was not very good. Not worth the price. I wouldnt return.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
