I stayed for 4 nights with my husband and 18 months old son. It is situated in the heart of little india. Many options for shopping and eating nearby especially for indians. I found the staff also pretty co-operative. Actually rooms on higher floors are better with good view. Avoid rooms in the podium as they are near main road... More

Forget the rooms, they end before they start but if you ask them for anything, they don't have. We were staying there for three days since we were with "the cox and kings" group( our bad luck ) and asked them for a bandage but they simply said NO. So even we say no pl don't stay there.. Than thee... More

Last month, I stayed there for 2 times. Tower wings rooms are far better then podium wing. Last time, I stayed in Room No.920. It was a nice room, but by night, some problem was there in electricity and AC was not working. Mr. Michele, lobby manager helped me a lot to immediate upgrade and change my room to Room... More

I wish I could rate it further lower. I visited Singapore last week and checked into this around 4 PM. I had 3 rooms out of which AC of two room was not working. I complain about this on reception but nobody was ready to listen. They neither fix nor change the room. Finally I ended up ruining my night... More

If you have any other option please go for some other hotel. Very rude behaviour from hotel people. Worst break fast ever. You will have to adjust with bead and butter. I stayed here for 3 days in may 2015. If you are staying in this hotel i'm sure that you are not going to enjoy your trip.. Think twice... More

It is astonishing to hear that even a simple thing like bread is not part of daily breakfast. Absolutely pathetic Every demand is rejected bluntly without understanding the concerns. Shell out a little more in some other hotel and avoid Grand Imperial under any circumstances

Front desk and manager refused to give me an extra towel, sheet or soap!! They said towels are replaced daily, no extra towels given upon request !!! I haven't heard that in any other hotel EVER!!! When I said I will not be staying there in future, manager says "that's fine"! He was willing to lose a customer over an... More

I agree with the observations that tis hotel is not suitable for family vacations. The staff is rude and the restaurant is a mess. The elevator system is also quite funny and one may spend most of the time figuring this out. What surprises me is that most of the visitors there is Indian holidayers and the hotel takes them... Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
