Friendly and lovely staffs, quite good location (600m. From Bugis station)and not far from Bugis street for shopping and eating. Don't expect spacious room but that's fine for sleeping. Less choices of breakfast, just saving your budget:)

When the door was open,a musty smell came from the room. My room does not have the Windows. The air con was making noise which makes it difficult to sleep. The opposite of the hotel is the Muslim cemetery. But they provide free breakfast buffet including local foods and variety of hot beverages!

The hotel is fairly well located, convenient and the staff are most helpful. Well located as it is within walking distance to the MRT station, Bugis shopping area and street. Nearby are many cafes and eating places so one would not be short of it! Staff has been most helpful and knowledgeable about the bus transport (they could easily tell... More

The location is the good, the hotel design is excellent as well, both the interior design and how they utilize the space in room and common area. The staff are helpful. One warning issue is the noise from the busy China town area until late night, but it was not a problem for me. There is no restaurant in the... More

This hotel is a little bit pricey for an overnight stay, nevertheless it's location deserves every dollar spent. It's just few steps away from the bus stop going to the tourists spots, three or four corners away from the MTR, four-five corners away from the famous Bugis Stores, five-six corners away from the local bus station going to Malaysia. Complimentary... More

Facilities need to improve even is budget hotel. Breakfast not much choice, the space at restaurant is crowded, unable to support the guests. Hot water from water tap need to wait few minutes and it is wasting all the water.

I was contemplating giving the hotel a 2 star rating, but changed my mind due to the courteous behavior of most of the staff. We visited in January 2016, and during our short stay of 4D5N, we didn't face too many issues. Firstly, the location is quite convenient. It is very close to Bugis Junction, where there is a nice... The staff was super helpful and a main reason for the positive impression from our stay. The swimming pool was also situated nicely on the roof of the building. The actual room was small even though it was a superior twin room. Of course this was mentioned when I booked the room, but I didn't pay attention to it. The... More

We were surprised that our room was not made the day after we spent our first night in the hotel. We had no fresh towels, no water and no toiletpaper in our room. The answer we got on the reception after our complaint was, that it is common to not clean the rooms on the arriving day. But this was... More

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighborhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
