No hidden agendas here. What you see/read is what you get. Would stay here again. Had a deluxe double room with verandah over looking main street, didn't here any traffic unless doors were open, but too humid for that, enjoyed the air con & intimate roof top pool & spa.

Good location, just 5 minutes to Bugis station; very friendly staff, we could have a shower before going to the airport, breakfast is tasty and a good choice, we enjoyed the pool on the roof with the nice view

I stayed 2 times at this hotel and the experience was excellent and very consistent. The value for money is great but even the location in the Arab quarter is fantastic. Not in the center but only a 15 minutes bus drive from Clarke Quay. The underground station is a 10 minutes walk away or a 1 or 2 minutes... More

Good location, a 5-minute walk to Bugis station. accessible to restaurants and shops. Staff are nice and our room was well-maintained; hot and cold shower, quiet area, comfortable beds. Pool was a plus; a nice way to end the day. Overall a good choice.

This was my second time at the Santa Grande Bugis .I decided to pay a bit more this visit and have a room with a window ,it did feel like the room was larger .The room was generally clean and comfortable, especially the bed.The carpets however in the room and corridors need changing as they are a bit tatty and stained... I have previously been to Singapore twice, but tondifferent hotels, one in little India and one on Balestier Road. I must say that this budget hotel was by far the cosiest friendliest and most strategically located of all. The staff were generally ok. Rooms are small but that's the norm for Singapore. We had the rooms on the 4th floor... More

Staff was friendly, especially the old guy who serve our breakfast (sorry i forgot to asked his name, but i gave him a present before we leave). The room was small but clean with free wifi and nice bathroom. The hotel close to the bus station and MRT (Bugis), surrounded by small cozy cafe... Sure we will comeback there again.... More

With rooftop swimming pool, friendly staff and convenient location to MRT, we had great overall impression and pleasant stay at the hotel. We also had buffet breakfast. Best affordable hotel in Singapore.

we stay 4 night in this hotel : localisation is pratical (for airport, little india, center...), service are good (they keep us our luggage during the last day, so we could visiting one day more), breakfast is good with choice (rice, eggs, meat, vegetables, fruits, hot drinks, orange juice, toasts, jam...), insonorisation could be better (...in case of noisy neighbor)

The room we were given in this hotel was small but clean, with free wifi and a nice bathroom. The hotel pool was quite nice. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel was close to a bus stop and only 10 minutes walk to the nearest train station. It was also walking distance to Little India, Bugis markets and Arab St. Staff... More

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighborhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
