The staff is't friendly, the toilet is cleaned by a hose so it becomes a pool and the airconditioning in the rooms make you sick! The beds and the sheeds are fine but some guests seem to stay a very long time it the hostel so the rooms turn into their personal rooms and become messy

I stayed with my 7 friends for 4 nights and we enjoyed, the hotel is close to get MRT station, shopping center at Bugis, Room is clean, aircon is very good, toilet is clean, all staff are very helpful, they always help us anything we need, one suggestion is to fix the glass door behind the kitchen. overall I recommend... Got a bed in a 4 room dormitory for a not so cheap price - average hostel price if compared with other you can find around. The bed was a little bit squeaky but no big deal. The AC thing sits right on top of one of the bed (more or less where you have your legs) so 1 out... More

It's the 3th time I'm travelling in Singapore and I always choose them. The place is basic, but well done. Near MRT and near many cheap restaurants. It's ideal to who wants to safe money and see also the ethnic areas of Singapore.

Actually it's good location for you who needs MRT for your main transportation. But honestly the receptionist isn't really welcome, the toilet is dirty and the rats are watching you while you enjoy your time in the backyard. This place is good especially for you who comes from Indonesia because they have BCA account so that makes easier for booking... More

Stayed here for 2 times Dec 2012 and Oct 2013, just walking about 5-10 min to MRT station and Bugis Junction. Reasonable price but don't expect too much. Anway don't worry, you'll not spend all your time for sleeping. So, I think it's not a big problem for backpacker.

Stayed there every time I visit Singapore, especially with friends. ABC is quite near with MRT Bugis Station, around 5-7 minutes walking. But its so close to bus station in two different lines. The building it self seems old, but that's okay. Good price compare to other hostel near by, and also great place to go around. Usually booked the... More

People always said that this place near the MRT Bugis. Its far. its about 15mins for Indonesian walk. I think the cozy corner is more easy to find than this hostel. I get lost several time cause that was my 1st time. The room is small but clean, the shower small and a little dirty. I hate that they placed... More

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighborhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
