Checkin staff friendly and efficient, beds very clean and the water pressure excellent. Once in a while you'll feel a rumbling from the adjacent airport movie theater, but that's more because the room is already extremely quiet to begin with. Try to request a room overlooking the tarmac if you're into that kind of stuff -- having a huge plane... More

Nothing to fault the T3 hotel on at all. Close to departure gates, quiet (despite opening the curtain and seeing a plane right there), clean and comfortable. En-suite fully stocked. Wake up call on request if needed. I'll certainly use it again.

An overnight stay at the Ambassador Transit Hotel changed an Australia to India itinerary from an endurance test to a pleasure. It was a delight leaving my hotel room after a good sleep and heading off to the departure gate. The bed was comfortable, the shower perfect, the whole stay real value for money. Reception was friendly and efficient, the... More

Loved the convenience of sleeping in a hotel room just upstairs from the gate we'd be flying out of the next morning. The room was comfortable but efficient and spotlessly clean. Our window looked down onto the very attractive terminal floor. In fact, the Singapore airport, itself, could be an attraction! Back to the Transit Hotel, though, we asked for... More

Pros: Very clean, round the clock desk service, climate controlled, warm and powerful shower, plenty of space, North American compatible power outlets, coffee/tea set in room. Cons: Room is freezing upon entry, blankets not very warm, walls very thin, no channel guide for the TV, automated wake-up call came 5 minutes late, NO WIFI in the room (wired internet cable... Better than waiting in an airport lounge for 8 hours but this tired transit hotel is in need of a comfort update. Hard beds, freezing cold room and dated decor. But clean, and more comfortable than lying on the floor in the terminal. Paid the same as in other transit hotels around the world so expected a more comfortable experience.

We travel regularly from the UK to New Zealand and have found this hotel an absolute life saver. Instead of arriving at midnight in Auckland we book a flight 12 hours later and have 8 hours in the transit Hotel. We get a decent nights sleep, a shower and a chance to change to our clothes. We arrive at midday... More

As regular travellers to and from Australia to visit family we sometimes find ourselves with an 8-10 hour layover at Singapore Changi International Airport. For £40+ we book into the Transit hotel within the terminal and take the opportunity to sleep in a bed and take a shower. Refreshed we take on the next leg of our journey. Highly recommended... This is the only way to survive a flight halfway round the world, unless you are rich enough to have travelled first-class or business class. After a 10-hour flight from New Zealand to Singapore, and facing a further 13.5 flight to London, what better way to spend the intervening 6 hours than in the comfort of this transit hotel, with... As most travellers we stayed one night in transit and the Ambassador does what it does best. Convenient location ( in all three terminals) and right next to all the shopping and restauarant action. The hotel represents excellent value for money but be aware you pay by the hour so time your arrival and departure accordingly .
