Overall a good budget hotel with basic facility and no frills. We stayed in Family Triple Room for 5 nights. One issue we faced was there was no lock in the bathroom. If you are traveling with young kids then it becomes little nuisance. Other than this we had a very pleasant stay. Location is a plus (Little India) with... More

I stayed for 2 nights in room 309 double room. Room is clean, with large double bed and spacious shower and bathroom. I was surprised because as you walk through the front entrance of the hotel it is very narrow and tighgt, and you fear the worst. Actually the hotel is quite spacious and extensive over several floors. Floors are... More

I lived at room 309 for a week, with constant noise from the air con, strong smell from the restaurant next door through the leaky window all day long, and hot water that lasts only 5 minutes. Room attendants were unprofessional. They forgot to give me new towels once and shampoo at another time.

We did our first visit to Singapore with family and stayed in this hotel for a week. 1) this hotel does not have a restaurant so if you are expecting a quick breakfast before moving out or a late night dinner after a hectic tours or occasional cup of coffee or juice then you would miss it, 2) this is... Stayed in executive suite. Excellent location in Little India close to all the restaurants. Only 7 min walk to metro. Highly recommend to others. Only drawback is that their lobby stinks because of the non-veg restaurant right next door.

Great little hotel in busy vibrant Little India. The room was tiny but very adequate and was a bargain in this heavily overpriced city. Outstanding eating places nearby and great access to public transport made this the ideal location for budget travelling. Will definitely stay here again.

Quite small with a cramped room and bathroom, but very adequate for a night's rest after a day of walking. Wifi was fast, the shower had really hot water (which i liked), and the aircondition was a welcome after a hot sticky day. It does sort of smell like curry from downstairs when the aircon is off, but it dissipates.... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
