I stayed for 2 weeks with my friend in the Haising hotel, and we were both extremely happy! It's such a good location, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and we really liked our room. After travelling around the whole day it was nice to come back to a decent shower, wifi and the beloved aircon! It's a 5-10... More

If you think of Singapore with skyrocket property prices, this is a gem centrally located, near Sim Lim Tower, MRT, Little India and few stations from any interesting place in Singapore. It is a budget small hotel, small rooms, very clean and you get what you pay for. Running a/c, hot wate and free wi-fi. I was in a business... More

Travel on a budget this is for you. Bugis mrt is not far just a little walk from my perspective, Bugis street and Bugis junction a stone thrown away.Linens changed daily including towels. The staff esp Ivy were very helpful she provided us tips in going to the hotel by taxi, mrt or shuttle, I think that spelled extra mile for... This room looked just like the photos. It was basic but really clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, and its easy to get to by train from the airport, however the walls are paper thin! I could hear the person in the next room brushing their teeth, flushing the toilet, and... More

Stayed here on holiday from November 7-10 2013. Good location as it is just a stone's throw away from Bugis MRT, Little India, and a bus stop right across the street from the entrance. Rooms are spartan to say the least, but decently clean. No English cable channels except channel news asia but that really won't matter given that you'll... More

This hotel is superb value for $ 55 a night for a single. If you are a budget traveler who prefers to stay in your own room rather than hotels, this place is for you. Here are it's good points: Great location, 3 mins walk from Bugis market place and a hawkers centre with plenty of cheap food options. It... More

We've just had our third stay at Haising Hotel. Hotels are expensive in Singapore so getting a twin room with windows for our 4 y.o. and us for S$90 a night is good, but even better is the fact booking directly with the hotel online is a breeze, the rooms are clean, the bathroom is one of the best I've... Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
