It's OK. 24 beds in a spacious, but hot room on boat quay(there's aircon but they limit the temp) . There's a computer to use in the dorm which is nice. The price is in line with most hostels in Singapore (£$25). The room was ugly without a flooring, and damp in the ceilings. The staff (just one), seemed a... More

Had stayed here here for a night in April 2015. Although there was not much interaction with the people working there as I arrived almost at midnight, the guy at the reception was very kind to show me the bed so quick (just as I needed). There were like 10 or so bunk beds but it was not full. The... More

Great experience - lovely staff and clean. Location is ideal. the Quay is full of bars and restaurants so everything was walking distance. Metro and bus stop are also fe minutes away. The Bar at the hostel also serves good food. and for what you pay you definitely get a good experience

Was in a good location just a short walk to the Clarke Quay MRT and Bus station as well as a few shopping centres. Stayed in the 16 bed dorm which was comfortable and clean with enough room to not feel too cramped even when the dorm was full. Wide range of people staying there (business people, backpackers etc.) included... More

If you are looking for a cheap centraly located backpacker place you have come to the right place. Besides that, this place offers a bar and very nice staff. Easy to get here from airport with just one trainchange. Stayed in one of the double rooms. The room doesn´t give you more standard than the basics, but when its almost... More

There are two Prince of Wales hostels in Singapore...if you want to stay at the nicer of the two, in the cleanest area of the country, near to all of the landmarks and hotspots...be sure to stay in the Boat Quay location rather than the Little India location. We took the MRT to and from Changi to POW and used... More

I'm not too picky on accommodation usually (generally go for the cheapest) this dorm was surprisingly welcome with enough showers and plug sockets for all to use. Security isn't the best as everyone uses the same code for entry. Bathrooms and dorm were nice and clean and the beds comfy.

Booked to stay in Townsville room for two night. Some of the issues we had where: Hearing people in other rooms like they where in same room. This was in part due to a strange flimsy "wall" behind the bed head. Room smelt musty and could use very good clean. The bed is shot, springs in back and badly curved... More

This is the worse hostel I have ever stayed at in my entire life and I have backpacked through Europe and Asia before. The room was overpriced but I booked it last minute at the airport after being up all night so I made a poor mistake in choosing this place. My room smells musty and not clean, there has... More

We stayed at POW Boat Quay for a couple of days. The place is well situated in the city center with a great view along the quay. It is situated in the middle of the restaurant mile. So be aware of the noise if you are traveling during the weekend. The room was ok, big enough but not very clean.... More

Staying in The Quays

Neighborhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
