The place is clean, the room have A/C, I stayed in a renew dorm. It s pretty good for short term staying. But the owner is the most unhospitable I've never seen! Up to you if u want to deal with her, but I wouldn't have been there if I've known it!

Everytime you entering the states, you will get garbage smell, and the stairs is very dirty. Entering the hostel on third floor is disappointed because the floor seems not get clean everyday. The room is also dirty, the linen have been used by someone. The wall in my room was so bad. The only good thing is the location near... More

the good points are cheap, near train station and restaurants. the opposites are you can not find the hotel by yourself. you have to ask people because they only put a piece of paper in front of their door written 98SG. too many rules. the stairs to the 2nd floor quite stinks, dirty and stuffy.

It's a hostel and you got to share your rooms to 6 - 8 persons. If you are traveling in a group it's better to book a head of time so you'll get the chance to stay in one room. The place is 2 minutes walk from Aljunide train station. It's easy to travel from attraction places and malls to... More

We stayed at 98SG in March. My wife and I stayed in the 4 bed dorms. We made the mistake of staying at the cheapest hostel we could find. Keep in mind, this was still not cheap. After the final billing it worked out to $14/night/bed in a four room dorm. No bueno on the budget. So, this hostel. We... More

Hostel is affordable, next to mrt, very near the food court. They have a homey feel to the hostel so it's like going home after a tiring day. Very clean as well. 1 thing that's going to be a problem if you're a group is it is not certain that you will be in 1 room together, hostel follows a... More

If you just stay one night in Singapore and have to catch a flight in the morning, this is definitely a good choice. Close to the metro station and at a fair rate. On the other hand, the rooms are small, the shared facilities not the cleanest and there is a strong smell of urine in the staircase.

We stayed at this place for few nights and tried to spend as much time outside as possible, because this hostel is simply a joke. Bad joke. Stuff consist of one person only, a woman who You can see only two times during You stay - when You check in and pay the money and when You check out and... More
