I stayed there for 4full days and 3nights. We were a group of 3 girls and we rent a family dorm of 4 beds. the shower & toilets are very clean, rooms are well maintained. All day tea, coffee, bread, jam, peanut butter, margerine. Very friendly staff. Very close to Chinatown MRT. I made a good choice by selecting this... More

I was surprised from what I've experienced here during my stay. The place was very clean and so organized. The staffs were so helpful and friendly. Love the nearness of the station and the foods everywhere. I would absolutely go back to this place.

It's an old building refurbished into a hostel. Interesting place. A lot of places to walk around the area. Traditional souvenir shops are nearby. As it is a hostel style inn, good for budget travellers. it is definitely more affordable in the city like Singapore. It is clean. Location is good and accessible to the MRT lines.

Temple St. is located in Chinatown making this hostel a great pit stop for those who plans to walk around Singapore at night. There are friendly staff to help you and the place was really well kept. I know that there are cheaper places but this place came highly recommended and I am convinced through my own experience. A word... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
