We stayed here for 4 nights and was very satisfied with everything. The hostel is very clean. Rooms and bed are comfortable. The free breakfast was amazing! I love the coffee. Also , very near the MRT station. Mustafa 24-hour mall is nearby. Also, you can buy water and bottled juices in a store 1 block away :) Over all,... More

The hostel was very clean andthere even were hairdryers in the ladies bathroom. The room wasn't that big but it was good enough.. Good wifi all over the hostel, breakfast was ok, some cornflakes, toast, jam, coffee and tea... very basic but everything you needed was there!

I stayed here by myself for a few nights in a 10 bed room. Some seriously creepy men in there, being a single female backpacker it was creepy. BUT price is cheap for Singapore so if you are looking for cheap, go here. Washrooms are clean, room smelt like bad body odour but that may have just the people. This... More

The Footprints Hostel unfortunately it was not a very good idea, located about 500 meters from the subway station Little India. The Footprints is a low-cost accommodation, we were greeted by the staff at reception and we had a quick check-in. I chose the 10-bed mix dorm and traveling through the East for days I found that there are much... More

This hostel has nothing special and its location is not the best. Still, the price was good and I had good internet everywhere. The breakfast is ok, too. It has good laundry facilities and sell stuffs for an affordable price (even the beer, which is very expensive in Singapore). The bathroom was also good, with nice showers.

This hostel was great, very affordable and the staff were friendly. Clean, comfortable dorms and bathrooms. Very close to train stations and buses. Simple breakfast with tea and coffee included! Also what was handy is they let you borrow adapters and locks for the lockers for small deposit only. Would recommend to back packers on a budget :)

As my dad forgot the address of our booked hotel, we stumbled upon here! A frank filipino guy was there who let us in before the check in time. We took a room of 6bunks for 5person around SGD125 which is a good deal in spore. The room and the bathroom was clean, reminded me of my boarding school days.... More

We had a good stay here as a family of 5. We had the 6-bed dorm to ourselves, with shared bathroom. The bathroom facilities are good, and cleaned many times a day, with plenty of showers. I never had to queue. The room was a decent size, and we had a bit of room to unpack into the lockers. Location... More

Great directions and easy to get there from the airport. It was a make your own beds affair and towels were at a S$2 charge if you wanted them. The rooms were fine and the AC was good. Bathrooms smelt a little and had some bugs but generally adequate. The atmosphere in this hostel was poor, people tended to mooch... More

Stayed for 2 nights before we flew out to LA. Really good hostel, staff are helpful and toilets are kept clean. Breakfast is belting, could do with few more tables and chairs to eat it at tho. Located near MRT station handy to get about. Food in little India just around corner is amazing.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to Footprints Backpacker Hostel - a HOME away from home! Looking for comfortable, clean and affordable accommodation in a friendly, cozy and relaxed environment? You have come to the right place. Footprints Backpacker Hostel is conveniently located right smack in the middle of the culturally rich Little India, the centre for Singapore's Indian community. This ethnic quarter is packed with interesting treasures awaiting to be discovered. Retaining much of its authentic charm and distinct identity, this district is not what you would expect of the generally rather ‘sanitized’ Singapore. It is one of the most colourful and exotic places to visit on the island. The streets are dotted with small shops and eateries and if you are a bargain-hunter, cheap-gets are aplenty. ... more   less
