The hotel is 10minutes walk to a MRT station. The room with 6 beds are okay. No smell or weird ordor. The sharing toilets were clean and near to the rooms. Breakfast was bread, butter, jam, milk, coco crunch n honey star. There are 2 refrigerators to put stuff. They do provide new and clean bedsheet and pillow case, they... More

Great place to stay in Singapore. Cleanliness has been taken care very well. Very close to many places of interest with lots of food varieties available around. Nice rooms and comfortable mattress would definitely put smile on your face. HD Smart Television in lobby would help you kill time when you need.

We stayed here for around 1 week in total adding on an extra night each day for between £6-9 which included breakfast - choice of 2 cereals, bread, toasters and selection of jam marmalade butter etc There are also glass cabinets filled with (purchasable extras) noodles, crisps, small shampoos and other things you might need, fridges with cold cans The... Hostel is very clean, but rooms are very small with one little fan and a small little A/C which was a joke.in that heat in the morning they used to switch it off. Only common room air condition was working whole day, so all the guests used to sit there and couldn't take rest in there room, very inconvenient. So... More

We stayed at the footprints hostel for 4 nights in a 12 beds mixed dorm with air condition. The room and the common areas were nice, big and clean. The bathrooms were divided in male and female and had separate toilets and showers. They were cleaned regularly so it was no problem sharing. It was located in little India close... More

Came in this morning and found the place to be nice. I will be staying in the city only for a few hours and so would rather sleep it off than roam. The receptionist was extra nice today. She's just like a friend who is having u stay at her home. No elevator. But use the stairs. Wifi is good.... More

This is a cheap place to crash in Singapore. It's not too bad although you can find it pretty satisfying if you have low standards. The dorms are tiny, there's hardly enough room to put your bags. The bathrooms are a bit grim. The common areas are OK, kitchen is pretty decent and the outside porch is a plus. I... More

The price was excellent at the hostel and is the reason we booked in a night. The location is good (near little India - great for food, and bugis station - great for transport links) and the staff are friendly. There is decent wifi access in the rooms which was a plus. The rooms are a little small but not... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
