Hostel was cheap for a reason. Beds and dorms were dirty and very warm. Toilets were not clean either and filled with hoses and buckets. Staff very friendly and helpfull.. Wifi was available but not reliable at all

I had an overnight stay here whilst travelling on. It was a tad tricky to find first time, but i was tired so that could account for that. The directions that were emailed to me were pretty good. The hostel did not smell clean and fresh, rather like old socks. However, I did see cleaning carts and cleaning staff. The... More

The place smelt like a week old curry, the staff were very "who cares" attitude. We asked for a top and bottom sheet and were told that they are not supplied, we pushed the issue as we had seen them on the other beds in our very tiny dorm and were finally given an extra sheet. The extra sheet was... More

Booked an all female dorm for 6 people. Price is reasonable. The room is simple and comfortable. As it is located in a small alley right beside the main street, it is quiet and suitable for light sleepers. There are many shops serving Indian food right beside the hostel so if you are feeling slightly peckish you can just take... More

The location not in a strategic places enough. Need more than 5 min by walk from MRT Little India. And along the way bad smell and a bit dark in night. surrounding not friendly look. Need to explore map to found it when you arrived. Actually a comfort hostel to stay in SG. Creative decoration inside. Nice breakfast but a... More

great little hostel, clean, comfortable, easy to get to, good proximity to the attractions and different landmarks. Staff are absolutely fantastic, they really know their local knowledge and in fairness, by asking questions your stay will be fulfilled, very knowledgable and so interested in making your stay in singapore a great one.

We stayed at this hostel on Oct 3rd until Oct 5th 2014. We booked the ensuite family room for 6 persons capacity. The room and the bathroom was simple, nice, and clean. No food and drink allowed inside the room because the management doesn't want any crumbles that invites cockroaches and ants. Staffs were helpful, giving you direction to get... More

This place is right in Indiatown and is accessible to a lot of good places to eat Indian food (I love Indian food so this may not apply to everyone), about 10 minutes away to 2 train stations, bugis, hawkers, malls, pretty much good location and accessible to main transport points. The bed is big enough for single person to... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
