Nice budget hotel, great for short business visits to Singapore. Just ignore the 2 hour rental rooms, and the location of the hotel. Plus the obvious patronage. Otherwise, it's a comfy place to stay. Short walk to MRT station. 10 minutes and you're there. Lost of local food late at night in the wee hours of the morning. Parking is... More

Despite the fact that the room can be rented out for 2 hours at a time, my Father and I found this to be a lovely little hotel. We needed a reasonably priced hotel to stay in for just one night for the Singapore F1 GP. After a lot of research I stumbled upon the Regin. It was walking distance... More

This was my third time here, This time i booked a Deluxe Double Room for $S90 (approx $A71). This room was very small, (double bed crammed into corner of room),but at least had a window this time. Wi-fi free and excellent, got 2 bottles of water on arrival, but no free snacks which are advertised on their website as coming... More

My Boyfriend and I stayed there from the 16th to the 23rd of September. It was nice, Uncle, the old receptionist is so nice and always greets us warmly whenever we come back from our tour. All the receptionists are also helpful when you need tips on the places you are going. We booked a Superior double room which was... More

I stayed here for one night in July 2012 on my way back to Perth. Paid $S65 ($A48) plus deposit of $S50 which was refunded on check out (No idea why they have the deposit, maybe for the tv remote). Negatives: I was in a very small windowless room on the 3rd floor. The bedroom was no bigger than 2.5M... More

Actually this was my first hotel that I reserve via online directly to its website. Previously, I've made some correspondences with Madam See. According to her email, I did't have to pay any charges until I arrive at the hotel and checking in. All the charges already declared within the email. There's no hidden cost. So, I could prepare my... More

It was a very small room, good for you who wants to stay just one night. The pillow was amazing, it was square shaped and very hard and uncomfortable at all. We stayed here just for a night. The location was good though, walking distance to Seven Eleven and the MRT. You can find many food kiosk around it (go... More

For 95 Sin$ a shoebox type of room with a shower hose in toilet is a rip off. the TV had a bout 1 english program and the rest of the channels where snowy white. Maintenance rather poor. If Inew before I would have avoided to stay.

Room is small but clean, it was OK to me at this price. The front desk offered me a free bottle of water on arrival but no more bottle after that even I paid same price as the first date.

Staying in Geylang

Neighborhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city center, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colorful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
