Not so far from Changi Airport. A good walk from Kallang MRT, not a problem except when it's rain. No worries, 2 dollars umbrella is up for sale at 7-eleven in the station. Now about the hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Wifi connection was fast. TV channel were good. Rooms were spacious and clean. Aircond was good and... More

We stayed there last June 2015 with 2 of my friends and colleagues. It was a little far from the city center but it was really good that it was near a train station. The taxi driver told us that it was near the sort of Red light district but other than that location was good. The staff were very... More

Nice budget hotel 10 mins walk from the MRT. It's not a luxury hotel by any means but you definitely get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and the bed was okay just a bit hard. I only stayed here 3 nights so all I wanted was a bed and bathroom and it was fine. Shame I didn't... More

I stayed here in 2012. I took a very cheap room(With no breakfast) The room area was not mentioned. When I checked into my room, I realized it was the size of a table at max, just room for a single tiny bed and wash room. Plain claustrophobic. I had arrived early morning and had a meeting so couldn't do... More

Nice budget hotel, great for short business visits to Singapore. Just ignore the 2 hour rental rooms, and the location of the hotel. Plus the obvious patronage. Otherwise, it's a comfy place to stay. Short walk to MRT station. 10 minutes and you're there. Lost of local food late at night in the wee hours of the morning. Parking is... More

Despite the fact that the room can be rented out for 2 hours at a time, my Father and I found this to be a lovely little hotel. We needed a reasonably priced hotel to stay in for just one night for the Singapore F1 GP. After a lot of research I stumbled upon the Regin. It was walking distance... More

This was my third time here, This time i booked a Deluxe Double Room for $S90 (approx $A71). This room was very small, (double bed crammed into corner of room),but at least had a window this time. Wi-fi free and excellent, got 2 bottles of water on arrival, but no free snacks which are advertised on their website as coming... More

My Boyfriend and I stayed there from the 16th to the 23rd of September. It was nice, Uncle, the old receptionist is so nice and always greets us warmly whenever we come back from our tour. All the receptionists are also helpful when you need tips on the places you are going. We booked a Superior double room which was... More

I stayed here for one night in July 2012 on my way back to Perth. Paid $S65 ($A48) plus deposit of $S50 which was refunded on check out (No idea why they have the deposit, maybe for the tv remote). Negatives: I was in a very small windowless room on the 3rd floor. The bedroom was no bigger than 2.5M... More

Staying in Geylang

Neighborhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city center, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colorful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
