We, including my wife and 2 kids, (7 yr girl, 1 yr boy) went to Singapore and stayed at Madras Hotel @ Tekka - 2 Stars from 24th to 28th Oct. 2013, as suggested by Make My Trip planner guy. The cost for 4 days was reasonable around Indian Rs. 21900 (around S$ 109/night) which I thick was one of... More

The hotel is very budget friendly and is ideally located for Indian tourists - due to lot's of Indian food joints nearby. Mustafa shopping mall is close by. Breakfast is very basic. Room space and amenities are also basic but it gets noisy in night due to many clubs around playing loud music. Staff is pleasant. Would like to come... More

This hotel is worth every penny spent here... Very reasonably priced at the same time, very comfortable... The staff members ensured that we felt comfortable as if at home... They wouldn't mind going that extra mile to help the guests... They have made sure that during our next visit also we wouldn't look for any other place...

I stayed in Madras Hotel for 10 days with family. I asked them to change Bedspread after two days but the hotel staff replied that cannot change and you can check out like that. My question is that I booked the hotel in 28-Mar for staying from 1-May to 10-May and condition that No Refund if I cancelled but the... More

Stayed for 3 nights in Feb 2014. Pros: The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location - very close to Little India MRT (5 min walk) and multiple vegetarian restaurants in the vicinity. The room rates are reasonable considering the good location. Cons: The rooms are quite small, with very little space to move around. The air conditioner in... More

After spending two hours wondering the streets of Singapore, I walked into this hotel and was pleasently surprised with the quoted price that included WiFi, breakfast, and all the taxes! Hotel is located on a quiet street near the entrance to Little India, a short walk from Bugis train station and major attractions of Bugis (museums, galleries, art colleges). The... More
