What a pleasure when you have very helpful staff that are really concerned about one's wellbeing. They would not allow us to walk to the shops but escorted us there and back. The food is really great home cooked grub and the fish and chips are to die for. The price is right and we stayed only one night but... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of June, the staff are helpful, the rooms are all New or refurbished, the location is central to SM & Ayala Malls. The Fish & Chips are the best in the Philippines and the restaurant menu has many good selection options.

I'm an ex-pat permanently living in Dumaguete, and Kiwi is usually my choice for where to stay when I'm in Cebu. I regularly take the family to Cebu, and we generally stay at Kiwi - it feels familiar to me, and the staff is quite good taking care of people. I like it because it literally is a few minutes... Terrible food! Breakfast with endless coffee taste more water than coffee. Food generally is to fatty and with no taste! Noisy outside of the rooms! Night time as well in the morning! Been at this hotel about 60 times but now I never go back there again! Services is getting more worse for every year! Not worth the price for... More

Very sorry to hear your concerns. Especially from someone who has stayed with us many times. Firstly the noise, unfortunately May is Fiesta time and yes I agree with you it gets very noisy but unfortunately not a lot we can do about this. Coffee, The instant coffee comes in packs as you know maybe they have reduced the amount,... More

this was my third stay at kiwilodge. i stayed for 2 weeks with my partner and a friend. As usual the food was exellent. the staff of course are always fantastic but sad to see that Marjorie was no longer working here. The room we booked was the new delux, it proved to be way too small for two people... More

When I was in Cebu last year I overheard many people talking about the Kiwilodge. Having grown up in NZ the temptation was too great to not visit this month. Well I'm glad I did. Rather than repeat what Darryl has written in a previous review to which I wholeheartedly agree, I'll add to his comments... Having worked extensively in... More

My wife and I arrived in Cebu in mid January and checked in to the Kiwi Lodge, having no previous knowledge of the hotel. We were both pleasantly surprised. The rooms were good and the staff were very friendly, offering good service. The menu was not extensive but the quality was good and reasonably priced. We were due to spend... More

When you look for a hotel in Cebu, these are reasons why to choose the "Kiwi Lodge Hotel": - They check the e-mail with your request for reservation several times a day, so you have a fast answer. - Every taxi driver knows the place (i have been there serveral times, all knew it). - Only a taxe drive of... I am also an American and have stayed at Kiwi four times over the past year (last week being the most recent). As stated by other reviewers, the rooms are adequate, with 210 in particular being excellent. Thee are two aspects of Kiwi Lodge that separate it from just about everywhere else in Cebu. 1) The staff. Anyone familiar with... More
