Castle peak Hotel is well located, just a short taxi ride to Ayala and other shopping malls. A quality room costs 60 Australian dollars. Rooms are neat, tidy and very serviceable. There is a daily buffet breakfast which is satisfactory. 200 pesos. All staff do their best and are friendly. They do appreciate the tips. I spoke with a young... More

Stayed overnight for a business trip. Took me 30 minutes at the reception desk before i could check-in. I requested for a room in the new wing and i assumed it was still well-kept. Was in for a surprise since the room smelled like a bar. the interior wall and carpet seemed to have absorbed the cigarette smoke. I kept... More

The only good thing about this Hotel is its location. no one can argue with that. As for the negatives, the list goes on and on. i been there twice, first trip nothing to mention as the hotel was empty due to aftershocks. Second trip they had quite a few guests, so that's when the bad service surfaces. Arrived at... More

The lobby is a no-frills set up. No reason to lounge around. The room that I got has a carpet which I don't like unless it's well vacuumed and clean. Toilet is a little tight. But having a queen size bed works for me. For the price that they charge I can't complain much. I wish it was a little... More

Got one of the older rooms. Just okay. Very spacious but it kinda feels creepy with all those old furnitures. Hair blower not working, no electrical sockets near the bed. The air conditioning isn't strong enough, I find myself sweating in the middle of the night. So annoying. But the housekeeping old guy is nice. Food is just okay.

Stayed in one of the un-renovated rooms and totally underwhelming for the price. Restaurant & bar are ok but close to full western prices. Central location close to Ayala Mall. Internet connection not great in room but ok in public areas.

I stayed at this hotel with my family, twice. Actually, we come to Cebu for the massage offered by the hotel, believe it or not. We just stayed overnight or just go there have lunch and a massage. The massage therapists are really goodthst I fall asleep after a few minutes. As for the rooms, they are alright. The rooms... More

Whenever I go to Cebu, this is the hotel I stay at because of the location and the price. I'm usually out and about the whole trip, so I really only need a bed in an air-conditioned room come night time. The location is perfect as it is in the middle of the various malls, and other places where you... More

Good location. Helpful staff. Great food. Nice rooms. But... Small windows in most rooms, which have a huge pillar right in front - totally blocking any view. Rooms are a bit claustrophobic. Unless you pay extra and stay in the top category with a balcony. No manager on duty. Internet very unstable. Great rooftop bar!
