We came across this place while we're looking for a place to stay in Cebu that is near the beaches and tourist attractions. We decided to stay here because of all the positive reviews that we read about it and we're glad that we made the right decision. This place is tucked away from the city of Cebu so you... More

I want this place to be explored by a few people but that would be selfish of me would it? Kidding! Man, the beach house's location is a paradise. Overlooking the beautiful sea and you can explore their piece of land because they have a big chunk of it. The hosts - they are perfect. They make sure that everything... More

Pros - It's a secret paradise. The experience of walking from the main road to the beach house is like finding the entrance to a hidden enchanted kingdom. - The food is perfect, the music is perfect, and the service is perfect. I'm running out of adjectives to describe an experience that is perfect. Hahaha... - The room is very... More

There is not just one thing that I can single out for this being a fabulous place to stay. The service was wonderful, the location perfect and the food healthy and delicious. I have a daughter with peanut allergy and Jacques and Keira went out of their way to make sure that for that weekend all food was peanut free.... More

Nestled on a hill with a breathtaking view of Cebu Strait and embraced by a lush forest, the Granada Beach House, if I may boldly claim, is the only true rejuvenating escape in southern Cebu. My friends and I (all 8 of us) were graciously welcomed by our charming hosts, Jacques and Keira, who made sure that we were comfortable,... More

I am a Filipina now living in Europe, but every year I travel back to visit my home country and family. Together with my younger sister and my cousin I stayed at the Granada Beach House for 6 nights. Amongst the many holiday places I have seen in the Philippines, my stay at the Beach House is now on the... More

We stayed at Granada Beach House Hotel for 5 nights in May 2014 and we had a wonderful time. Keira and Jacques, the lovely couple who run the hotel, really made us feel at home for our entire stay with them. They helped us arrange some really nice excursions including scuba diving for the the first time (more on that... More

Enjoyed our stay, quiet little place out of the way of everything else.. almost would have been too far out of the way if our stay was extended past a few days. Food was really enjoyable for us, stuck to pretty much the same meal the entire time though because we enjoyed it so much. Enjoyed snorkeling, saw everything including... More

I'll just write down the facts, and you judge. 1. Food - Just ok. Nothing spectacular. At least it doesn't taste bad. Different menus for B,L,D. Lack of Asian food for the lunch menu. I'm an Asian and we are at the Asian country 2. Room - Spacious and clean. The aircon will start to cool after 30 mins. 2... More

Hello Devil198 Thank you for the honest and detailed review, we are sorry to hear that your experience was not as good as other guests have reviewed. We definitely take on board the water pressure issue and we are installing a new water system that will provide better pressure with hotter water. We are indeed a 3 star resort and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Granada beach house is a secluded eight bedroom rustic property, set on a peninsula point with 180-degree ocean view. Located 100km south of Cebu city and only 20mins from Oslob, home of the great Butanging (Whale Sharks). Escape the city for a taste of paradise. Relax in the swimming pool or enjoy the small private beach, peppered with coconut trees, hammocks and native umbrella's; with a coral shore to break the ocean waves. Snorkel around the bay and discover the colourful marine life, or scuba dive the house reef and explore the 100ft coral wall drop off. We have 8 large air-conditioned bedrooms, all with private shower rooms and a balcony to the back, overlooking a mini forest. The rooms are bright and airy with a rustic colour scheme; providing shade from the mid-day sun. All rooms are furnished with two chairs and a coffee table, a wardrobe and shelves. Complimentary water, tea and coffee-making faciltiies are provided in each room; as well as fresh towels for the shower and pool. The Hotel is surrounded by the spectacular scenery of forests, mountains and the ocean; we minimise our impact on the environment by composting food waste and warming our water by the sun- a nice temperature to cool down after a day in the heat. Jacques and Keira took over the management of the beach house in September 2013. The South African / Irish couple have a hands-on approach at the hotel and together with their friendly Filipino team, provide a warm and personalized service to all their guests. Over 150 Whale Sharks have made the bay close to the house their home, local fishermen feed the whales daily from 6am-12pm (no need to book in advance). You can watch and take photos from a boat or snorkel /swim with the gentle giants; it will be the highlight of a memorable holiday in paradise. ... more   less
