Booked this hotel few months ahead for Sinulog. Since it was my first time to go to Cebu for Sinulog, I have no idea which hotels had strategic locations and thus, I relied on reviews from the internet. There were few mentions of Maxwell Hotel and I only managed to inquire from them because I saw its location on Google... More

Value for money. Bed and breakfast served. Very clean and facilities are new. Very accessible to everyone.  You wouldn't be afraid of going out because of the security of the premises. I would definitely go back and recommend this to my friends.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are overpriced, you can get much better rooms for cheaper. If you need to stay connected to Wifi, stay somewhere else unless you want to sit in the lobby all day... I had to ask them to reset wifi at least 10 times in 2 days and still couldn't get connected. Based on previous... More

Situated in uptown Cebu; very close to Ayala. Rates are very affordable. No electronic lock & key but just ordinary door knobs with barrel bolt. Ordinary closet, flat screen, comfortable beds and pillows. Extra pillow is P20. Toiletries are just soap & shampoo; no slippers; no electric kettle and no fridge. Simple bathroom with hot & cold shower. Rooms are... More

I stayed for three weeks. Not a high-end place, but nice staff, secure, safe, clean, air-conditioning, hot water and good location. Within walking distance of Puente Fuente and Ayala Mall. WiFi was really weak in my room and I had to ask them to reset the router several times. In the lobby the signal was decent. Only security issue is... More

Rooms are sparse. Window aircon. Decent location. Found it funny that they charge you for extra towels For the price it is fine but not for more than a night or two maximum. Am sure they can be slightly more accommodating with the needs of travellers.

I stayed at Maxwell to be close to the city centre, and it certainly is! Totally ok rooms, though I wasn`t too impressed by the shower. Air-con, clean rooms and good beds. The breakfast is fair enough. the service is exellent, and you really couln`t wish for a more welcoming staff! But, hey, you`re in Asia:)

Stayed at the Maxwell for a couple nights to visit a friend. My reservation was really easy, I just gave them a ring and asked to have the room reserved on the 11th of Jan. Room was pretty spacious and clean. Wifi was working fine and was fast enough for my needs(and I do IT work XD). Breakfast was served... More

Nice hotel in good location but had no wifi for 10 days, no elevator (we were on 4th floor) for 6 days before finally left and being promised over and over again that service would be restored next day, and no water for 1 day. I think hotel is in financail problems as less than 10% occupany when we were... More
