Tucked away behind one of the many paths leading to White Beach is Melinda's Garden. It's literally a 1 minute walk to the shores of Station 3. Upon first viewing, I was surprised. The pictures I'd seen on the internet didn't do it justice. When you first approach the compounds, the iron gate can be tricky to maneuver open, but... More

A pleasant selection of huts located a 10 min walk along the beach from the main restaurants and bars. I must say we did get lucky with our stay. We'd booked online via a website but on arrival they weren't expecting us for another 2 days. We'd booked to stay in the standard room for 4 nights and as a... More

i have to say when we arrived into this place we were very skeptical, its down an alley and just doesn't look very welcoming, but then we were surprised. it was actually a really nice place to stay, the rooms were brand new, everything was spotless and you could even smell the fresh paint. the family lives there also and... The worst place ever. I paid in full with agoda and did not even stay for 1 night. Terrible entrance, garden, reception, people lying around in supposedly spa area. Terrible bathrooms. Unfriendly staff. Please stay somewhere else on this beautiful island. I cant believe that they ask money to stay at such a dump. Rooms were neat inside, but oh... More

I am a solo traveller and chose this property based on the earlier reviews and its location. I have just spent four nights here and found the place to be very comfortable and good value for money. I was initially concerned when I came through the little gate that it was a little decrepit but once I was handed my... More

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in Boracay with easy access to the beach, Melinda's Garden is an excellent option. You'll find six traditional-style bamboo huts tucked away in a cute little garden just south of boat station 3. We stayed for seven nights in a standard bungalow that came with a nice porch, hammock, fan, mosquito... More

Hidden between palmtrees, at the back of front line beach buldings, quiet, welcoming, perfect for backpackers. Staff is charming :) Only cons: no seaview, mosquitos... :P would love to be back there. Bablo

We stayed at Melinda's Garden for 3 nights in June. It was easy to find as it is sign posted from the main beach strip. The rooms are all huts and have a balcony and hammock, great to relax in after a hard day at the beach! The rooms come with nets and the bathrooms are big. The staff were... More

The first time I was in Boracay was in 1996. This year is the first time I've been back since then and so much has changed. There are more people, but also a lot of the old beauty of the island has disappeared. Melinda's Garden is a glimpse of the old Boracay. The resort is quite and the garden is... More
