The Strand feels like home, one you'd gladly come home to. My family and I stayed at the Penthouse (?), which has 2 bedrooms and a very spacious living/dining area. Really relaxed ambience, very comfortable, nothing unique or fancy really - but sometimes, simple and basic works best (which, in this case, it did). It's at the far end of... More

The Strand Boracay is at the northern end of white beach after Station 1. It is a good location to stay if you like to be away from noise and hustle bustle of white beach. We stayed at The Strand for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Our booking/reservation experience was not so good but Ms. Ritchel helped us to... More

THE STRAND The Strand is located at the northern end of Boracay Beach, just past Station 1 – and is an ideal location to stay if you like to get away from the bar scene and the noise in the evening and leave that to those a little younger! We stayed at The Strand for 6 nights and for the... More

Boracay Strand is amazing. The atmosphere is authentic (not 'canned'), so you feel like you're getting a real taste of the Philippines - and superb Filipino hospitality! It's in a WONDERFUL location at the far end of the white beach...close to cozy, private Diniwid and FAR from the crazy activity and noise of the lower stations. Beautiful, relaxing setting. Lovely... The hotel is generally ok, but I do not understand the enthusiastic rating. Suite rooms are wa overpriced and normal rooms would costs 20 USD if not in Boracay. Everything is too much away from perfect, rooms are alawys cleaned 80%, there is no shower gel, no hairdryer on the room and so on and on. I will look out... More

Stayed 6 nights at Strand Boracay in January. The hotel has nice and quiet location in the end of White beach (200 m walk from beach). Hotel is in a spacious lush garden and has nice poolarea and small restaurant. The staff is very polite and helpful. They have good food with reasonable prices. The wifi works well. Hotel is... Really enjoyed my 6 night stay at the Strand during the last week of 2014. From the ladies on reception, through to the guys on the gate, any interactions were always greeted with an infectious smile. The site is 2 minutes walk from the quiet end of White Beach and set in a green environment. As such it was a... More

We stayed dec 28 to jan 2. A bit on the $$$ side but we opted for the family suite :) Really glad we did as it rained a couple of days and we had 500sq ft of covered deck all to ourselves. To bad the pool bar never opened. All in all. Great place, very quiet. Not too far... More

The hotel was immaculately maintained, even though it is 10 year old. The staff was helpful and attentive. My family loved the breakfast and the dinners we ate the hotel. The beach is easily accessible, and the neighborhood is authentic and friendly. A $1-2 tricycle ride to anywhere on the island. Would stay again if/when we go back.

It is good but aging property few minutes from the beach. If the rooms were up to USD 70 per night, I would rate it significantly higher. But for the almost 130 USD, the expectations don't match the offer unfortunately. Walking distance to the beautiful beach. But some properties (Boracay Terraces for example) are on it. So again, the high... More
