Alyssa Resort picked us up at the waterfront to bring us across to the island. Our room was clean, large, sunny, air-conditioned. We enjoyed being served breakfast on our lanais while watching waves lapping on the shore. The staff was friendly and professional. We occasionally had dinner delivered to us from one of the nearby restaurants, by the resort staff.... more

This place is a basic hotel with basic amenities (towel, soap, shampoo) and a few extras (air conditioning, cable TV on 9 inch screen, towels for beach, breakfast) but nothing else. Do not believe the website when it lists other amenities, such as internet access or iron. Staff are friendly and the room is nicely cleaned each day. Location is... more

I have stayed at this hotel (it's not really a resort as such) 3 times now, and would recommend it to those who want to have a more peaceful vacation in Boracay.
