2nd trip to Boracay last trip was abt maybe 7 years ago. Boracay is overcrowded now, but made the right choice in staying at Dave's it was quiet and away from the crowd, and I just love the 10 minute walk along the beach or along the main road to meet our friends at station 1. Daves is also near... More

Dave's Straw Hat Inn is in a slummy section of Boracay...the rooms are quite dated looking and probably have not been updated since the '70's and I mean the 1870's. The common areas are as bad, if not worse. Why do you think this property had a "NO REFUND" policy? After arrival, no one would want to stay more than... More

Thank you for your thoughts, but it appears that you never stayed with us or even on Boracay, as I have never heard station 3 described as slummy, and we are just two minutes off the beach. Our Inn was not open in the 70’s, so how can we have updated since that date, but in fact on a daily... More

We spent half of our honeymoon at Dave's it was a good experience the pancakes are a must have! More than anything else though it was the staff that made the stay worth it. They were always smiling and willing to help or answer your questions. They literally made you feel the family vibe of the place. Would recommend Dave's... More

After reading the great reviews for Dave's all over the Internet, I may have been setting my expectations a bit high. I was really picturing the staff going out of their way for the guests, the grounds to be beautiful and the rooms to be nice, and with a great price. Yes, the price was great for those on a... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. We walked in and was given 1100php per night. I will base my review/ratings comparing the price to other places throughout SE Asia, not Boracay. The price I got for this type of accommodation was good, but at full price I would not rate it as high. The rooms (called cottages) were small, clean,... More

First time in Boracay and was looking for a no frills, fuss free place... This place had loads and more! Service was prompt, every enquiry was answered asap, and the staffs are really friendly! Would not think twice to stay again at Dave's when I return... Two thumbs up!!

I stayed there for about a week 3 years ago, and this time I stayed for over 3 weeks. Most of the same staff are still there and just as passionate, friendly and helpful. Once again I can happily recommend. As others have mentioned, the rooms are clean and the place is in a good location, at a quieter end... More

If you want immediate access to lots of restaurants, clothing shops, and clubs, stay at D'Mall / Boat Station Two. But if you like the idea of a twenty minute saunter down the beach to get to such places, and enjoy the quiet end of the beach (also with its share of convenience stores and restaurants), then this is the... We stayed at Daves for a Second time round again since are last visit in 2012 I have to say it's still as excellent as be first time we stayed there. Excellent staff very peaceful and could easily stay there longer then we booked for. Very clean rooms and the cottages all have air-con and plus there is free wifi.... More

I stayed here for a week in July and it's exactly how most people have described it. The staff are very warm, welcoming, and helpful. You get a welcome drink on arrival which is nice. The best thing about the place is how clean the rooms are, the towels are changed daily and all the bedding smells so good, the... More
