I was browsing trip advisor and was shocked by the number of modiocre, some even bad reviews and thought I should set the record straight. We booked this resort directly from their website through a friend’s recommendation who had his honeymoon there a few years back. He told us the place was like an Eden so we thought we will... more

Location wise, the panoly resort is quite a distance from the main beach but thats exactly what i enjoyed... a "private experience" with the beach at my disposal untouched by the commercial flair. A place where the footprints left behind would most likely be mine! There is a shullte service that heads to the main beach a couple of times... more

I read the reviews and gave it the benefit of a doubt so we went ahead with our plans. Plus my bestfriend and her husband gave it great reviews after their 2006 stay. Prior to coming, I did call the hotel and spoke with one of the managers (Rita) who reassured me that the hotel services are in order. We... more

I bought timeshare of this hotel in 2000. Now I realized I just made one of the bad investment in my life. I paid 20 nights in advance around US$100 / night for a room accommodation only. Now they’re daily rate is only around US$98 with breakfast. I could have just deposit the money and booked as I pleased. On... more

This resort is struggling. Most of the casitas are closed for renovations, leaving only the main hotel to speak of. The pool bar, casino, and a restaurant were destroyed in a fire several years back, and all that remains are their foundations. The tennis courts have a thin sheen of mildew, and the pool did not look clean so I... more

We arrived in the hotel on Dec27 and we were faced with the following problems 1. we booked 2 Superior Bungalows, but the hotel crew advised that these were under renovation, so we got two other rooms in the main building. 2. the swimming pool could not be used, as it was being cleaned ( apparently the swimmingpool was switched... more

After a short sojourn in Antique to do some thesis research, my buddies and I decided to drop by Boracay before going home. And being a member of Panoly and a kind, generous soul (teehee), I instantly offered the place up so my friends won't have to pay for accomodations any more. I should've paid them damage fees because it... more

Seriously, I wont recommend this hotel to anyone... To start with, there is no road to the Panoly. After our long and exhausting journey, there was no tuktuk (mini cab) willing to take us there, because the normal-size cab is too big for the road to the hotel. After begging and paying like 200% of the fare, 1 tuktuk took... more

The Panoly Boracay should be in the Guinness Book for being the worst resort in the island of Boracay. As a frequent traveller, my family had the most unpleasant and stressful vacation ever. To begin with, this resort is secluded , it's difficult to get in and even harder to get out. To catch the free shuttle, you have to... more

Don't believe everything that the Panoly Resort Hotel website says! We had high expectations before we stayed at the resort, not only because of what we saw on their website but also because the resort hotel had in the past been rated with four stars. We were terribly disappointed, however, when we finally got there. The facilities were in a... more
