I try to go to Boracay atleast once a year and this time I wanted to try a different hotel in station 1. I have heard from friends before that this is a nice hotel; I chose this one instead of others with lower rates but good rooms. When we got there I was really surprised; the place was hardly... What used to be one of the nicest resorts is no longer the case. It is run down and badly needs a renovation of its rooms and facilities. The only saving grace is its location and its very friendly staff.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights several months in advance through Agoda. I had good expectations from the this hotel because of a previous experience of a friend of mine. But the moment I entered the resort I got dismayed. The place seems to have been neglected. The place definitely need a face lift already. The room that we... More

I wanted to share my very bad experience in Pearl of the Pacific Boracay in summary: 1) Outdoor staircase is in poor condition (uneven and no proper lighting in the evening) -my friend got into a freak accident, missed a step and needed facial surgery 2) Bath/beach towels with stains and holes 3) Swimming pool with green murky water 4)... We stayed at POP on May17 to 20, 2015 at Beachfront room category (we used to stay here in 2012 at Deluxe Poolside). Despite negative reviews on this hotel, we tried to stay here knowing that they’re the only one hotel in Station 1 who has a “nice wide beachfront”, with a feeling of privacy and exclusivity at reasonable price.... We have previously stayed at the Pearl in 2012 and while it's gone downhill since then it is still a good resort. We had an upstairs beachfront room and it was clean with and a good mattress on the bed with great feather pillows. The room was cleaned every morning too although we had friends staying in the poolside rooms... More

I loved the very 80's-90's vintage feel of the resort, you can say that it used to be one of the best there is in Boracay. But the climb to our hillside room was simply a PUNISHMENT! The path to the hillside rooms were poorly lit at night and I was so freaking scared that some snake or big lizard... More

Pearl of the Pacific used to be one of our favorite hotels in Boracay. We have stayed at this resort since the early 90's (back when the rooms are still made of bamboo). We even had our honeymoon there. We like their beachfront since it's less congested. This year, we decided to book at their hotel...big mistake! 1. We requested... More

Rooms have power key cards and yet it is used on multiple rooms. Staff leave cartons/dummy cards on the slots since some were lost and not replaced. One staff entered our room around midnight while we were sleeping w 3 CHILDREN inside and took the card. Of course, power went off! When we called the lobby, staff came back and... More

We booked 6 months before our travel date, 4 nights accomodation in beach view and transfer. The day before our travel date they call us to confirm the time of arrival. But when we arrive in kalibo no representative of hotel, no one to pick us up!!! I called the office in Manila and said that they will call boracay... More
